hi Mr yuck & welcome to ECF..U R in the right place to seek support and encouragement in using e-cig..any e-cig to start is fine..but will learn through mistakes made as U learn more from fellow members..i made many a mistakes and through those mistakes i can now guide newbies after 9 months of vapping experience and time spend here familiar with the aspect on vapping..so much has changed in gadgets and also better cartomizers(easy to filled as methods improve and lots of saving if interest to do DIY on e-liquids..so do come in here regularly and do read past posts that interest U and i am sure U will find vapping becoming a "hobby" rather than a chore..presently my setup is the LCD,VV eGos on DCC(LR dual coil cartomizer) and i love to vape non-stop with my endless combination of e-liquids i DIY..happy vapping & regards mafig

thanx you for replys start reading is not much help as being new i'm confused i smoke at least a pack a day i have stepped away from regular brand cigarettes and get them rolled at my local tightwad tobacco,i was at my local conv. store and saw an ad for blucigs what i ended up buying w/o info was a quik E-cig starter w/charger and one cartridge and a pack of blucigs cartridges the pkg for the quik e says 24mg the blucigs just say5 high? i am seeing posts for e-juice??

not even sure where to start here...

E-juice, juice, e-liquid.... is the nicotine, flavoring solution in the cartridges...

some more advanced models have easily refillable cartridges that allow you to use different flavors of juice... some have no cartridge at all and people just drip juice on to the atomizer...

there is a TON for you to learn... good news is, all the info you need , is here at ECF!!!!

"Start reading" is probably he best advice you could have gotten... though maybe it could have been said in a more detailed way.

See how you like your current setup. Prefilled cartomizers don't last too long. Most people here purchase empty cartomizers and fill them with juice.

I'm not sure what type of pv you have to recommend what cartomizers you could use on it.

Hi Mr. Yuck and welcome. I'm fairly new also to the forums but there is a wealth of information here and the members are VERY knowledgeable and helpful. As for me, I started off with the standard kit from V2 along with the powercig adaptor, vaped the cartridges that came with it. Learned how to fill the cartomizers and then started playing around with fluxomizers and other devices to fit on my battery. I guess the first thing that I needed to know was what type of batteries I had. Once I knew this (808's for the V2's) I knew if certain "izers" would work with my battery. Also knowing voltage and how it plays with the differring ohms of the "izer" devices with impact to flavor etc helps out a lot. All of this information can be found on this forum. As for liquids, I thought I would NOT like the flavored ones but saw a couple flavors on sale and now vaping on standard tobacco flavors is not as pleasurable as vaping with other flavors. As for whether or not it will help you be smoke free, I can only speak for myself in that I am smoke free almost a month now with NO cravings or desire to go back to analogs...
