New to Vap and need a Tank

I am currently using a Mini Protank 2 and absolutely love it. It is a bottom coil Pyrex tank and the coil heads are not hard to find. My dad is using the Kanger T3S (plastic tank) and he has had little to no problems with them either. Both of them have the outer eGo threading on the tanks and are bottom filled. If you would like more information on said tanks there are plenty of youtube videos out there as well as other threads here on ECF

Links that you can check out are as follows.

Go with a Kanger tank, Vivi novas or something along those lines. If you want to try something different I'd say get into some cartomizers. Less maintenance, No leaks, Great flavor. All you have to do is prime the carto correctly and your on your way! Smoktech makes some good cartos, Otherwise I'd say look into IBtanked. Best carto tanks and everyone recommends them for a carto, You can customize your size tank and colors etc.

Might be a little more than a kanger tank but it's well worth it in the long run and cartos will last you a good while before you have to change anything.

Most like what you have now but with replaceable coils is an iClear 16. If you like what you have, you can also just buy more CE4 heads and toss when they don't taste good or produce enough vapor. To make them last a little bit longer, you can soak them overnight in a cup of vodka or hot water. Rinse and let air dry 24 hours. You can do this with the replaceable coils, too to extend their life.

I prefer Kanger EVOD tanks and use Kanger Protank & Mini Protanks for liquids that react with plastic--cinnamon, lemon, orange, strong mints. There are other liquids that don't like plastic, too but I don't have any of them yet. I started with an iClear 16 and it is a very easy tank to fill & maintain. I just prefer the cooler vapor from a bottom coil tank.

I personally would recommend a Kanger Protank 2 Mini. They're extremely easy to use and maintain, and the best thing is they never leak, gurgle or flood. Not to mention, they're made of Pyrex glass so you never have to worry about any type of e-juices corroding your tank. They're smaller and it'll look more flush with your battery that you're using and the replacement heads are cheap, and easy to replace. If you're interested in getting one, you can find one for a nice price here:

Replacement Heads
- On average, a replacement head can last anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks depending on how much you vape. Keep that in mind with how many you decide to buy, if you plan to go down this route.

Take care.

I'm not too fond of Kanger. Davide tanks are probably my favorite if you want the protank style. They even have a top filling model which is really nice.

I agree. I've had terrible luck with Kanger. I love the whole aspire/anyvape line, so far. The davide kings work great once you figure them out. My favorite everyday clearo is the aspire bdc mini vivi nova-s glassomizer. 2-3 weeks in, not a single probem. Simple, functional, great vapor/flavor, virtually leak proof, and looks excellent on an ego style battery.

The biggest reason I have stayed away from the Nautilus tank so far is that I am using a eGo C-Twist and that is just way too top heavy for my to be happy with in the since that I feel like if I sit it down I am going to break the glass.

My Mini Protank 2 on the other hand it is sleek and light, that and I have actually dropped the thing a few times and it has not broke or cracked (probably got lucky there, YMMV)

I do not like kanger tanks... at all. The TS3 plastic tank is the only one I have had no problems with. My protank 2 and mini protank 2 are really finicky and I have been through so many packs of coils. I laugh when people say they have no problems with protanks, they must rebuild the coils or have some magical trick. Just got a vivi nova the other day and while it is not glass like the protanks I like it 100 times better.
