Okay this is my first post so please be nice. I purchased a vap kit through Nhaler and absolutely love it. I am having issues with my e cig charger and am not sure if I can fix it. It is loose when I screw in the battery and the light just stays green. Not sure if I can fix it or have to purchase a new one. I am using my usb battery for the mean time which is kind of a bummer since I only have one battery. I am also a little cunfused about the proper way to refill my carts. I either use to much poly to fill it or to little. I have been droping my liq in and tapping it with a paper clip for the mean time. I use to smoke Newports so I really enjoy the high voltage Nuport liq. I'm not sure about the differences with cartomizers and atomizers. When I use my Catomizer it tastes burnt. I've tried filling it with a syringe and the cap method. I also have one atomizer that tastes burnt so I have not figured a way to get the taste out. My other atomizer seems to work fine for now but worry about what I will do when that one tastes burnt. I would like to know what is the average life of a atomizer. I am also researching about a bigger battery and have seen the mods but am confused how they work and the pros and cons. I really don't understand the output of energy when they say like volts and that sort. I know I may be jumping but I have so many questions and not sure how to start my research. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I mainly am looking to have a e cig that will last through out the day. I have been using 3-6 cartridges a day so I think I may be filling them wrong. My battery is a reg joy 510 and am sad that I only have 1 out of 3 that I can use. Thank you for reading.

Hello William and welcome to ECF!
A cartomizer is a cartridge that has the polyfill (white cottony looking stuff inside). An atomizer is the one where you look inside and see the metal wick directly, no white stuff around it. The "burnt" taste means that the carto/atty is dry and there is no juice in there to be used.

Im not sure about the average life of a carto/atty, as each is a bit different, but it seems from what I have read 2 to 4 weeks per each.

There are different ways to fill a cartomizer. I currently use the "Condom Cap" refill method, it's easier and I know it's been properly filled, then after that I can just drip every so often, as I am vaping, onto the white stuff, and keep it filled. If I don't drip to top it off (keeping it full), and I end up vaping all the juice, I just have to re-fill the carto.

I don't have any mods at the moment, so can't say too much on them right now, but I am researching them all the time lol.

When I go to charge a battery, I make sure I wipe off the connector on it to make sure it's clean and dry. If light is red, it is charging, (on some models) if the light blinks it's almost charged, and when it stays on green it's fully charged. If it's the connector inside the USB adapter that's loose, I wold contact the company you bought it from and see if they will exchange it for a good one, as that one may be faulty, or you could purchase a new one.

If your looking into a bigger battery type, the kGo is very good! There are lots of options out there for it as it's a 510 model. Hoosier E-cig kGo

I hope any of this helps you, and I am learning something new everyday reading here on the forums. Everyone here on the forums is nice and always willing to help!

Again, Welcome to ECF, and Happy Vaping! :)

Hello and welcome to ECF! You may want to replace your charger as it sounds defective, which is dangerous. As far as vape time goes, the larger the battery, the longer you can vape with it. Not too sure why your cartos are tasting bad. Might be the juice, so I would try some samples from different vendors. Many will have a menthol that might appeal to you. :)
