Hello all. After 13+ years of dipping, I have been 48 hours without a dip. This was possible thanks to e-cig. My friend has been vaping for a while, even though he never was a previous smoker or dipper. Every now and then I would toke on his ecig when we were out hunting, and I liked it. So the other night I bought a disposable bluecig which didn't last 24 hours, which was lousy for $10. My buddy then hooked me up with 2 AMP XL batteries (1 900 and 1 1300), a new clearomizer and some liquids! I have Vapornine Vanilla Vice, VaporBomb Passion Fruit, and some homemade mix. I find them all to be too sweet, but the passion fruit is manageable. I'm tempted to try some Gandalf or Huntsmen from Heather's Heavenly Vapes (they're 5 minutes from me), any suggestions? I know it's hard to replicate smoke, but I'd like a "tobacco" flavored liquid that has proven to be a winner with you guys.
Thanks

Welcome to ECF
You are on the track. HHV is a great vendor. Both Gandalf and Huntsman are in my favorites stash along with Pirate's Booty, Serendipity, Shadowfax, Dragon's Fire, and Gollum.

You definitely need to get more clearomizer's. You need backups, and backups for your backups.
I try to have one for each juice, and clean every few refills.

Two more posts and you can use the entire site!
If HHV is down the road, go try some samples! Try what you think you will like, try some things you aren't sure about, try some odd things!
I love tobacco flavors, but now and again I get on a grape or Dr, Pepper kick. Sometimes I like a hit of peppermint! Once your taste buds clean out you will change and want something else. Don't be afraid of the sweets, and don't be afraid to try something you don't like to eat, they wont taste the same in vapor!
Welcome and good luck!

I'm not afraid of the sweets, I just don't want them nor like them. The only one I plan on buying is a true grape flavor...other than that I want an all day tobacco vape.

yay for ry4. love it. especially double ry4 when it has that yummy caramel after taste.

i found several vendors have a cuban or turkish variety and they are usually smokey as well. but cant remember who, i DIY now

Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Heavenly Tobacco is her spin on RY4 and it is amazing. There are many flavors of RY4 I have found that I like, however taste is subjective.

Gandalf is currently my favorite juice, and has launched me into a big tobacco-flavored juice kick, especially the naturally extracted tobaccos NETs. From HHV I really like Gandy of course, and Huntsman too, but also Darkhorse and Heavenly Tobacco which is just slightly sweet, not at all too much so IMO, and definitely worth a try. These are, to me, like a really good, premium pipe tobacco, complex and rich with various flavor undertones on inhalation and a very smooth tobacco scent and flavor on the exhale.

I'm just now trying some other vendors, Vermillion River, Halo (TriBeCa is pretty good), cavendish from I don't even know who (picked up yesterday at a brick and mortar vape shop).

I've heard great things about ry4 as well, but not yet had the pleasure.

Have fun and don't limit yourself to one flavor or flavor-type either, I am thoroughly enjoying many different flavors rotating in an out, just most recently because of the NETs from HHV am I on the big tobacco flavor kick! Just my advice and my two cents.

I'm kinda biased as I work there, but v4l.com has a lot of flavors and is 12.50 for 30 ml of liquid. And I used them for all my juice before I started working there, and if I didn't work there anymore I would still buy juice from them. With that said, our traditional tobacco is popular and wowboy is good, I'm into the fruit flavors, we do have premium grape, it tastes just like a purple grape straight from the vine, I was and am impressed with that one, we also have smilin special menthol which I like that a lot too.

Thanks for the detailed post Carbon. I think I might get a sampler from HHV. Now if only they let me come try before I buy lol!
