Received my 901 and love it, but the problem I'm having is with my e-liquid. First batch was PG made me cough till I gagged and felt like I was running a fever. I switched to VG and it caused mouth blisters the first day. I have just ordered PG/VG 70/30 hoping this will be the one that works. Its getting frustrating to the point of giving up, but I truely want this to work it self out. Any suggestions for a newbie?

Hi Starzz,
Welcome to the ECF! toddos is right...what is the nic level you are vaping at? Also, have you been consuming enough hydrating liquids like water to offset the dehydration that occurs when vaping? (coffee, soda, and alcohol aren't really good at compensating for the dehydration) It does take a bit to find what works for you both in flavor, base, and nic level. I hope you find that happy mix. Keep us posted! :)

I would expect the mouth soreness or sores as a delayed effect of the PG, rather than the VG. VG is just vegetable glycerine like USP Glycerine at the drugstore. It's used in toothpastes and all kinds of stuff.

What nicotine level? Too high nicotine could cause it too - nicotine is irritating to the skin but having some VG usually prevents that unless the nicotine is really high.
