New to vaping, and completely impressed

Hi everyone. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm very new to vaping. Picked up an evod kit at my local store last Friday. I didn't get one with the original intent to quit smoking, more curious about vaping at first. Now I know I am going to quit smoking and stick with vaping. I had no idea how much better it is. I didn't really care for the clearomizers in the evod kit so I bought a pro tank 2. I was completely sold before when I had just the evod tanks, but now I'm amazed. Makes me wonder why I ever even smoked cigarettes, they're so nasty in comparison. I stumbled across this site looking for info on how to get the best vape experience. I'm excited to learn all about vaping and making it a great hobby.

It's cheap and it improves the experience greatly. The only challenge is going to be finding it in stock.

I had no idea how big the vaping community is. It's pretty amazing. After only three days I've found not only the one thing that will acctually help me quit smoking, but the one thing that makes me want to. I've already been telling my friends how great it is.

Hello Applejax! Welcome to the forum and congrats on the decision to vape instead of smoking. I bought my starter kit just to give vaping a shot at ending the smoking habit and haven't had a stinkie since. I had no idea it was going to be so easy. Just keep vaping.

Thanks slimloco. I know I am still so new to vaping, but I know what you mean. I thought there would be more of a challenge to switching from smoking to vaping after 10 years, but I couldn't be more wrong. How long have you been vaping?

It was a way for me to stop smoking, I thought it would not work, Boy was I wrong, not only that but I have a wife and 2 adult daughters that are extremely happy it worked. (have to admit it heard "I told you so")

I switched fro a 41 year smoking habit to now on week 6 of vaping only. Could not be happier about the change, feel much better already, the bonus is much cheaper, I am now talking to co-workers about the benefits of vaping with lots of interest..... Wish I had done it sooner.

I am still amazed that I don't smoke after nearly three years vaping. I never intended to give up smoking ever. My answer to giving up smoking was I'll drink and smoke until I die and if it takes a few years off my life, so be it. Then I bumped into an old friend who had an ecig(pretty sure it was a little 510). He asked me to try it, so I had a few hits. I remember thinking after that wasn't too bad at all and thought I would do a bit of research. The rest is history: I smoked for 48 years. Now vaping is a great healthy hobby. Last time I looked at my banner it said: 1100 days no smokes, 39000 cigs not had an $11000 saved!!! How bad is that. Vape on and enjoy life.

Yeah I was the same: it was all about giving up for me to. It turns out it's so much fun that I'll probably keep it up too. I may reduce the nicotine over time, but now I've learnt how to mix my own I realise that I can tailor things to my needs, and reduce that in minute steps. or maybe jump about a bit.

It's all good, and like I've said before: I think it's the holy grail of cessation. I expect that in five years from now the headlines will be that half or more of global 'smokers' just don't bother any more because this is so much more fun.

I was so impressed the first time one of my buddies handed me his noble one hybrid to try out the next day I started the day with ego c twist pen and never picked up a cigarette since now I'm 5 mech mods deep and waiting on the 6th to get here lol it's such a great hobby and aside from that the vape communing is very family oriented in the sense that you have all the support from everybody...
