I was recently converted to vaping and now wish I had made the change long ago. I had a fairly vague idea of what it was all about since some people I know have tried those disposable gas station e-cigs and one of my friends found his way into mods (where he went overboard and almost turned me away from vaping for good). I finally received an almost proper introduction in the form of a Blu starter kit and a couple packs of cartos as a gift from a friend with the best of intentions, but little to no research. Luckily that led me to do a little research and find these forums. I've spent the last week lurking around and absorbing as much of this great information as I can in hopes of finding the right fit for me. The Blu has served it's intended purpose by keeping me analog free with no regrets for over a week and I'll probably hang on to it as a quick backup in a pinch, but I have decided to step up to something more in line with what I'm looking for. Combing over all the information here I decided on a 510 kit with manual batteries because that looks to be the best balance for how I intend to vape and what I'm willing to go through to do it. All that's left to do now is wait for the package to come:).

Stalking the mailman will be easy since the box for my section of the street is right across the street. unobstructed view from my window (assuming I'm at my desk and not somewhere else in the house). I'm sure as I adjust to the learning curve I'll come up with some questions that can't be found through the search function. Thanks for the welcome :).

Thanks for the tip. I read in on of the posts about using the taryn spin to collect leftover juice from burnt blu cartos and refilling the ones that still seem to work and figured I'd condense down whatever is left over from that setup. I ordered extra blank cartos and some different liquids with the 510 kit so I should be good to go for a while there. I'm still researching the different cleaning methods and trying to decide which one I'll use when the time comes. So far I'm leaning towards childrens medicine syringe hot water cleaning method. I have used a similiar method for cleaning various in-line filters on large scale components with great success.
