Since I am new to vaping, it get's so confusing  on what to buy. I know I need to start with a starter kit. I love  my V2's but I am interested in the Ego's or Kangers. I can't spend a ton of money as I'm on a budget. Questions: 1.) What would be a good upgrade (something with a tank)? 2.) Do you like double tanks, if so, which one is good? I am so lost :?: with where to begin. Any help would be greatly appreciated! With a lot of the ego's, etc. it looks like you have to buy a lot of different parts. Is that true or does everything that you need come in a starter kit? Thanks in advance for the advice/help! :)

I upgraded from a cheap unit to a Ego C Twist after hearing about it so much. It's not an expensive upgrade (actually cost me about $20 more then my POS one -_-) but they taste much better. I quickly got rid of the CE5s that came with it and got me a few Kanger Protanks. This set up with the VV is awesome and will keep you happy until you decide to get into Mods and things like that. It's hard for me to imagine what people are talking about with the mods since this set up is just pure bliss as is.

Also everything I needed came with my starter kit. Got two batteries, a case, a charger, and a couple CE5s with a few heads. I have yet to use all the CE5 heads, and while they are decent clearomizers I'm just keeping them for back up since they are no match for the Protanks. The ego/501 thread will give you a lot of choice should you want to play around with your set up.

I used to smoke cigars so I started with a ego style ce4 kit. Got a 1100 battery with 3volt settings a clearamizer and a charger for $25.99. They gave me a free 10 ml bottle of liquid too. Going to pick up a 2nd one this week so I'll have 2batteries. The battery by itself is $24.00. SO I'll just get another kit.

Obvious upgrade is to a "variable" model PV. I would skip the over-hyped eGo's and get a variable wattage model PV over the variable volt eGos. On the cost side, the eGo variable batteries run $25+. Variable watt (VW) has a number of advantages over VV. For example a VW Vamo ($39) allows you to use any atty/carto on it where as the eGo's limit what you can use. With models like the Vamo, Zmax, etc the batteries cost about $11 instead of the over-priced ego variable batteries and last twice as long.

If you're on a budget, get an eGo: Twists are $20-24 if you shop around. You can get a variable voltage one:

Spare eGo-C Twist Battery for Joye eGo 650mah

Or just the regular eGo-c upgrade batt: the 650 is the normal size - lasts about 6 hours, the 900 is a bit bigger and the 1000 is quite a bit bigger but lasts 9 and 10 hours.....

Joye eGo-C Upgrade Battery, Joyetech eGo C Upgrade battery, eGo-C Upgrade battery

Get two plus a charger and a few of these:

eGo 3ml Tabac BCC (Bottom Coil Changeable) Clearomizer

I really like this kit:

http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

It's fully customizable and has all the good stuff! You can get a Spinner or a Spinner and a Twist. Grab a T3 and an eVod (or two T3s), a couple of extra coils (they don't come with the kit and are listed separately) and just get some juice and you'll be set for a while!

Good luck and happy vaping!

yeah this kit is pretty awesome, i would suggest 2 spinners and 2 evods personally (i hate my twists) haven't tried t3's but those can be hit or miss from what i've heard, evods give a very clean flavor and plenty of vapor. for $70 awesome deal

That has got to be the best deals I have ever seen on a kit. In fact, it is so good, I have nothing better to offer/show you. I would definitely go with that. Hell - I might even go for that and I don't need it!

I will say that I have love/hate relationship with the BCCs (bottom coil clearomizers or T3s). I have had problems with gurgling and even had a couple of instances of leaking into the tip resulting in a mouth full of juice. I would say try one but use your second option for one of the others - like the Vision Clearo - just in case it is troublesome.

Welcome and good luck!
