Hi everyone! I've been vaping since July of this year.

I first learned about it walking past a kiosk at a mall and spent what I realize now, is a ridiculous amount of money for my system.

My e-cig brand is Smoke Free, and their website is smokefreeonline.com

At the kiosk, I was talked into buying this and buying that and at the end, the total bill came to $400! 2 batteries... 2 atty's... charger, a million prefilled cartridges and a 5 year warranty that if anything goes wrong, just bring it back and they replace it for me. And to bring it back would mean a 15 mile car drive...

Well... the first month was great, not really any problems except that the prefilled cartridges did not last me what they said. They said 1 cartridge would equal 20 cigarettes... and really only lasted me about 5 - 7.

This made me frustrated so I decided to buy some e-juice from Vapor Bomb. And again... everything was fine for maybe another month.

Now it seems as if I'm turning into the atomizer killer. In the past week, I've had to return 3 atomizers, and the 2 I have now are being ridiculous. After less than 48 hours of use, one of them had all this black stuff fall out and if I vape with it, it tastes like burnt nastyness. The one I'm using at the moment always feels clogged up no matter how many times I blow it out and produces pretty poor vapor.

Smoke Free has a no refund, only exchanges policy and it's driving me crazy that all the atomizers I'm getting now are only lasting like 3 days! I don't know what to do...

Am I all of a sudden vaping wrong after nearly 2 months of loveliness??

Hi CCDbluerose! Welcome to ECF! YIKES! I ALMOST bought the same thing and then did 13 hours of research one day..LOL...I hear the frustration, I only started 8/27, about the atomizer and I was okay for about 3 days but I'm FOREVER charging the batt's and I got an additional atty that didn't work when I got it and they are sending a replacement and I have just the one and cleaning it constantly.....I have gotten into dripping a few drops on the atty when refilling the cart and that seems to be working REALLY well for me. BUT let it be known that I'm sucking on this thing like a new born....LOL...def vaping more than I smoked, but it's still a new thing! and I LOVE being able to vape in the house...it's insane....anyhow, I'm looking at the Ego now and the 1000 batt to eleviate my always recharging.....and maybe the xl atty's....

I'll keep the 902 (which is like a 510) as a back up...but looking to get MORE power and MORE batt life....

One thing I learned was NOT to screw the two parts too tight and sometimes I even loosen it up a little to get a better hit out of it....Maybe keeping the atty moist will help by dripping a few drops on it so as not to burn it out?

The vets will be on here shortly with their help (they are awesome!)..

Much luck and you found the right place!

Hiya :) Thanks for the welcome!

I wish I was more familiar with all the lingo on here. I have no idea what type or number my e-cig is... Just know that it's called Smoke Free, lol.

Because of the price I paid for it, there's no way I can look into buying another at this time. Seriously, it better last for more than 2 months!

Just wrote a lengthly complaint to their company. Don't know what good it will do, but it helped me to vent quite a bit, lol.

Welcome ccdbluerose! You're among friends who care and will do their best to help any way they can. This is a great site!

I choked when I saw how much you paid for your e-cig kit. I am unfamiliar with what you bought as I have a Joye 510. I got my husband to do a massive search online for what would help me, so I will be little help to you on that and can definitely understand your frustration. For that price, your e-cig should be plated in 18kt gold! Are you still smoking analogs or are you only vaping? I hope you get your e-cig to working great soon!

Again, welcome! :)

Hi welcome to the forum. I am going to try to post a link to what might be the company you bought from. Click the link to see if this is the company and let us know if it is or isn't. I do not recognize the battery size from the pictures on the web site but someone here will. Then they can give you some options.

Yup, that is their website.

Since my last post, I believe I killed yet another atomizer. :( It now just creates a really pathetic puff.

I have been solely using my e-cig since July 6.

July 6 is the last time I had a real cigarette and oh how I am stopping myself big time from lighting up.

I know it's not the batteries giving me problems. These last 2 weeks when I've exchanged the attys, it works perfectly, then after maybe 2 -3 days it suddenly is being dumb. Whether it is a prefilled cartridge, or me refilling a used cartridge... it doesn't matter.... after a couple days... boom! pathetic poor vapor :(

So right now, I am smoking/vaping nothing! Lol... I wonder how long I can last...

Hang in there - the posters here can point you in the right direction.
I bought some juice at the mall today since my new ones will not arrive until the end of the week... and yes they rip you off on the hardware and less so on the juice in the mall.
Refilling the carts I have found to be an art and am only successful about half the time - but getting better.
I love my tornado (also ego) and once I finally figure out how to refill will be even happier with it - there is a learning curve to deal with.
Vaping is better and will get better with time and practice.

Not absolutely sure but it looks exactly like the Smoking Everywhere GoldOne. Even the box is the same with a change in name. I'm looking at one right now.

I believe it's a KR 808.
At least in the future you'll be able to get carts cheaper than their website.

If you have a 5 year warranty, I'd take it back and get my money back....

doesn't the lemon-law apply? :?:

Ok, my current atty seems to be magically working now.... not as much vapor as it once made, but better than nothing!

I'm just trying to think up what I could possibly have been doing wrong these past few weeks...

Am I blowing the juice out of the atty too much?

I think I'm loading the ejuice into the empty cartridges right... about 3 - 4 drops per vape... is that too much, too little....

Batteries charged regularly...

too late to go to mall to exchange... too scared to tell people at mall that im using vaporbomb juice in case they say it voids the warranty.... ahh such a headache, lol

And I can't just get my money back... They have a big sign that says "No Refunds. Exchanges Only" :/

One thing that I found out that surprised me. The slower the draw, the more the vapor. Take a nice easy slow draw into your mouth. It'll feel awkward at first. Try really slow... almost too slow... then you'll get the feel. Drawing too hard reduces the vapor and also, with some carts, can pull juice into your mouth. Give it a shot....

I'd still take it back and get something else. Otherwise, just keep getting atomizers. Next time tell 'em you need about four because you're going through so many.

Those models should be kept horizontal and you aren't supposed to carry them assembled. I wouldn't give them another dime and slowly begin transferring over to a reputable product as you can. I went through about 3 unacceptable models till I found one that worked well for me.

Just consider you paid 400 to quit smoking. Lots of people spend way more than that on chantix, pills and patches and get no results at all, ya know? What you bought is worth about 5-6 cartons of analogs. See if you can make it last that long then get yourself an eGo :)

Well said... And I like your signature.
