So I joined to ask a question!
I bought a voopoo drag mini yesterday and the usb charger that comes with it don't work! Can I use my cell phone charger?
I personally would only use a charger that had the same amp output that the vape device is rated at. If my vape device had a max amp charging of 2 amp I'd only use a charger that itself was maximum 2 amp output or below, say 1 amp.
This below is an excerpt from charging advice I once read.
"Most phone chargers are fine, but we would recommend avoiding the latest generation fast chargers (3.2A) as if there is a fault in your vape this could damage your battery. For the best overall battery life, use a USB wall charger capable of delivering no more than 2A."
As a safe rule of thumb go the same or below, never above.

Have you tried to charge anything else besides the vape with the vape charger? It may be the vape is DOA. It happens occasionally. Especially with stuff bought from places like eBay or amazon.

Welcome to the forum btw :)

Hi and welcome.

I have been charging my iSticks for several years using my phone charger - for safety reasons I charge them on top of a large heavy floor tile, never overnight and when I go out I don't leave them on charge.

Bombastinator raises a good point and it'd be worth checking - some years ago I bought the iStick basic kit with it's neat little attie that could slip inside the unit - it died on the second charge using the supplied cable. I took it back; the shop replaced it with another; the same thing happened - you do get the odd thing or two that slips through QC.

Good luck.

I can't even find what the max amp is. It's not even in owners manual

Hi, the Drag Mini is 2 amp charging rated. Look on either front or back of your phone charger and you should be able to see in small raised print or writing on a sticker its charge rate. It may be like, 1amp, 2 amp, or 700mah which is .7 of an amp 1500 mah 1.5 amp. Youll see something written in either mah or amps.
