New to vaping. First post.

I just ordered my first e-cig this evening. With the help of this site and a few weeks of research I decided on the Joye eGo. Not the mega one although that was tempting. I am a pack a day cigarette smoker and hope the eGo battery will last a normal day. At least the work day and then some. I will learn how many cartridges I will use on a normal day and begin calculating my savings over destructive analog smoking. I will no longer be a smoker! I will be a vaporizer! I can't wait to smell and taste better again. I hope to have good news for you soon about how much I enjoy my new vaporizer. I have great confidence that I will. I have tried a couple of friends vaporizers and thought the nicotine delivery was good. That is the whole thing of it. Clean nicotine delivery. That drug is just too good to put down! Happy days ahead!

garyinco, yes, it did come with the second battery. Actually the kit has two complete e-cigs! I bought it from Joye 510 | Electronic Cigarettes | Joye eGo-T | Smoke Juice | Joye eGo. phillydave, I will be learning about re-filling cartridges real soon. I'm not sure what a drip tip is yet nor do I know anything about cart foam problems but I don't plan on buying too many extra carts at all. I'm hoping this investment in to clean nicotine delivery is going to save me a lot of money plus help me get my health better. I'm sure I have a lot of learning to do! I'll be around!

Honestly its all about preference. I started with carts then went to a drip tip a couple weeks ago and haven't used a cart since. A drip tip is just a hollow mouthpiece that allows you to drip juice directly into the atomizer. There are pro's and cons to both carts and drip tips, but I like the drip tips because they last until your 90, and provide a better throat hit (in my opinion) plus there's no foam to deal with. You'll figure out what preferences you have a week or two in and will probably want to experiment with different ways of vaping. Have fun!

Vaping works. Using the cartridges is very labor intensive, but if you're not smoking then it is 100% win. The whole experience is very alluring, I didn't want to say addictive, and it is very easy to spend a whole lot of $'s. You started out well with the eGo kit. Master it for awhile while you learn what you want to jump into slowly. The dripping with the tip is one direction, using cartomizers is another. The ECF is one of the best forums I've ever been on. Everyone is so helpful. What others do you know of that have single threads with 100,000 posts. We are all in this together.
