Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and vaping, been vaping about 2 weeks and loving it! Started off with the CE4 starter kit. Heard this forum mentioned watching some vaping vids on YouTube so decided to join here and CASAA.

My question is, yesterday I decided to make an upgrade and bought the Itazte VV3, I just got the express kit so it didn't come with a tank, I'm wanting some ideas on a good tank to use with my VV as all I have now is the cheap clearos that came with the CE4. Money is tight so I have to go with something cheap but don't want junk lol.

I was a 2 pack a day smoker and have only smoked 1 a day since the 2nd day of vaping!! I'm open to all advice and any tips because I'm a complete noob.

Thanks in advance and happy vaping!

The EVOD would likely be a nice entry level tank with widely available replacement heads, you could also check out a mini protank 3 or a mini aerotank, all 3 are made by Kanger, they are all bottom coil clearo's.

Or you could try some iclear 16's (make by Innokin, same company that makes your vv3), they're similar to a disposable but have replaceable coils, they are top coil clearo's. Or worst case scenario, even disposable CE4+'s would probably get it done.

Feel stupid replying to my own post this quick but wanted to add I was thinking maybe an EVOD or Kangar T3s, so if anyone would have a recommendation for one or the other.

I started with th evods. I think they are alright. I see a lot of people that love them. I had problems with leaking and gurgling.

I think those problems had something to do with the coils though. Some of the replacement coils are bad and some are good. It is hit and miss.

I know your not ready for this step yet but when I rebuilt the coil heads myself my problems with those started to go away.

I hear very good things about the aspire nautilus tank. But I believe it's about 40 dollars.

If you haven't check out fasttech .com. The items on there ship from China so shipping takes a while but they do have some cheap prices and most of the stuff I've purchased on there has been awesome.

Hope you find something that works!

Do you know if the protank3 mini is glass? I just watched a video on it but they didn't say. I heard menthol flavours can eat through plastic tanks, don't know if that's true but if a mini protank 3 is glass and not much more than a T3s, I might try to go with it.

I wish money wasn't an issue so I could just get a few different ones and see what I liked best.

Thanks for the replies everyone!!

First, welcome! I use EVOD's for out and about (if they break it is not that expensive of a loss). I also use Kanger ProTank2 with an Aero base (probably around $30 or less for the two pieces) and an Aero Tank (probably around $30 give or take). I prefer the taste from glass tanks versus the plastic tanks, but both are acceptable. If you get "into" the hobby of vaping, it is very easy and cheap to rebuild the heads yourself. I just finished making four in about 20 minutes (I'm slow...).

Good luck and enjoy!

P.S. Yes the ProTank Mini is glass. My wife uses them and really loves them...

Lol I feel cheap saying this knowing the money some people have invested in vaping but right now I can only spend 10, maybe 15$. I've read alot of people have had leaking problems with the Evod so found the T3s at the same price, but now want to check into the protank mini 3.

Yes, the MPT3 is glass. If you are willing to wait a couple of weeks for delivery here's a suggestion.

I also have the VV and love it. I use the Kanger Mini Protank 2. It's glass so you can vape any juice you like. The coils are like any other stock coil...they are hit or miss. However...they are easy to rebuild if you would want to get into that. Pretty much eliminated the flodding issues I had with the stock coils. I also I have an Aerotank. Same thing. The only thing about the Aerotank is that it is top heavy on the VV.

The EVOD II is a real good bet, maybe a dollar more than the EVOD, but well worth it. Uses the new bottom dual coil heads and is glass, whereas I believe the original EVOD is plastic. Technically, anything from the Kanger line is worth the money...but as stated before, the replacement coils are hit and miss. I have 2 Mini protank II, 2 EVOD II, 1 Protank II, and an Aerotank. I've had minor gurgling with the mini tanks, but everything else is fine. The Aero puts out a good cloud with it's adjustable airflow base.

WHEN you get into rebuilding your own atomizers, go with a Kayfun or Kayfun clone. They work very well, are relatively easy to rebuild and deliver a superior vaping experience over replaceable head tanks...IMO

I always recommend the Smok Tech Pyrex Aro tanks. They are glass, i.e. pyrex, hold quite a bit of juice, and I have really good luck with them. They never leak or gurgle on me. They are pretty cheap, only about $8, and the replacement coils are also inexpensive. Here is a link:
