I just started vaping my friend gave me his blu starter pack and it sucks lol, but it did get me interested in vaping haven't smoked analog in 2 days. I am having trouble deciding what to buy at first I was gonna get the sidesho supreme starter kit but now I'm thinking i'm gonna get the eGo-T starter kit. It would be really helpful to see what more experienced users think. This is what my cart is lookin like right now, just wanna know if all of this will go together and if I should get anything else.

All said and done man that looks good to start off. I have never used the ego-t tank, I started with an ego-twist and a vision clearomizer. I personally did not care for the I30s. It vaped huge, but had a metallic tast due to the knucklehead tip. You may look into a Kanger tank. Their stuff is always solid and they have them priced from pretty cheap (Evod) to a little pricier (Protank). Have fun man, I almost feel like shipping you all my old gear cause I have no idea what I am going to do with it anymore. good luck

I personally love the I30s, although I get not liking it due to the bit of metallic taste you can get. I'm uber OCD & ADD though, so I find that cleaning the base somewhat frequently helps.

That said, your order looks pretty good man. The "fruit gum" juice sounds horrid to me, but I have odd tastes.

Hope you enjoy it dude!

Hmmmmmm.

That kit looks quite expensive to me for what you are getting.

The batteries: In one place it says you will get "2 x 1000mAh eGo-T Battery", yet later in the description it says you get a 650 mAh battery. So which batteries come with the kit? The picture shows what looks like a 650 mAh battery. Obviously the larger capacity batteries would be better. A couple of 650 mAh batteries should get a light smoker through an entire day, but if you were a pack a day smoker those probably won't last you all day. Judging that you ordered 24mg strength nicotine in your e-liquids, you were a heavy smoker.

Those tank atomizers are "old school" juice attachments rarely used today. Most modern starter kits will offer a clearomizer or a cartomizer in the kits instead.

I approve of the Innokin iClear 30S clearomizer. I might remind you that the coil heads will need replacement in 2 - 3 weeks, maybe get some at this time.

_____

A far better starter kit, IMHO, would be this one for $69: http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

You can choose between Spinner or Twist ego variable voltage batteries (Choices of 650 mAh to 1300 mAh), two clearomizers from a selection of clearomizer brands/models, a charger and a USB/wall adaptor.

Package Contents:
2 x Variable Voltage Ego Series Batteries
2 x Clearomizer Tanks
1 x Joye Ego Rapid USB Charger
1 x AC Wall to USB Adapter

ego-t is out dated...
you can get a variable voltage 1300 mAh ego spinner (higher mAh, longer battery life) from altsmoke for like $20 to $25
and always try to get a metal or glass tank because plastic can melt with some juices.
if you like the bottom coil tanks get a protank
if you like a top coil tank try a vivi nova (all metal casing)

here is a much, much better alternative to the ego tank system

Electronic Cigarette / eGO Spinner Variable Voltage Starter Kit - Quality ecigs from Aqua Vapor Cig Atlanta, Ga

gives you variable voltage batteries - better clearomizers

replacement heads for evod or protank - get the 2.2 ohm - 5 Pack Atomizer Coils for Kanger Pyrex Glass Bottom Feeder PRO Tank from Aqua Vapor Electronic Cigarette North Carolina

case - Electronic Cigarette / eCig Personal Carrying Case for Electgronic Cigarettes by Aqua Vapor Cig

iClear 30 (I wouldn't normally recommend it - but its your choice) Innokin iClear 30 Dual Coil Tank With Changeable Atomizer Heads | Electronic Cigarette Innokin iClear 30 Dual Coil Tank

no special bottles needed

eliquid is similar but I recommend NicQuid

hope this helps

and welcome to the ECF

I would suggest as a good starter the humble evod type with a decent VV ego type battery like a twist as it depends how far along you wish to go at what pace and a 1.8ohm evod or kanger who make their own version or mini protank are a cut above the cheap n nasty clearo's and if you want more then you can move onto more exotic hardware from there.

Also try out different mg's of nicotine with flavours, some people find super strong good, some find a 6mg just right, depends on your previous smoking habit, I was on the equivalent of 40 a day so settled very well with the 36mg that not many I know can take without coughing their life out hehe

Congrats :) . . . My Girl started with the Blu, and moved to the JohnsonCreekSmokeJuice cartridges ... The Blu was her favorite flavor but it fails in so many ways. JohnsonCreek lab owner made the original Blu flavors and sold out to them < which is a tobacco company >. Thus I am not sure if the lousy performance on the Blu is to get people to keep smoking analog or just plain really bad production. I do however, suggest at least two or three batteries, one being a twist type, so you can jack up the voltage to see if that improves your experience. I went through two sample packs of eGo clearomizers < that's the clear tank with wicks and coil on top that were NOT rebuildable / not wort the money > it's probably easier to say what not to buy than what to get.
Most small 5 / 10 ml bottles of juices have the small tip for refilling the gear on them. < no need for the extra bottles until later. >
Strongly suggest a tank, < I love my Kanger Pro Mini II > don't put more than ten drops in anything until you know you'll like the flavor.
The rest is experience.
NO, it's no longer grabbing a tiny plastic bit.. taking off the cellophane .. tapping the pack .. and lighting up .. It's a whole new world.
keep a roll of paper towels handy, < vapers best friend >
and hang in there :)
Blessings and Joy,
Bliss.

Thanks guys, love this forum everyone is very helpful and fast with responses. Bad, Thanks for noticing the battery mah issues(didn't even notice). Gonna checkout the sites everyone posted, I have until next week before I order so will have a decent amount of time to make a decision based on everybodies opinions. And I was a pack a day newport smoker and that is why I went for the high nic levels, prob gonna get the 24 mg for at work and get lower levels for at home since the blu I have now never gets put down lol.

Hey rondaum, if I could do it all over again now, I would go with an innokin MVP v2 battery, and a cartomizer tank setup. Batitude is the guy to talk to if you decide to go that route. Cartomizer tanks have greatly improved my vaping experience. I could go into all the details, but my post is getting long already. I own protank2 minis, a protank2, protank3, iclear30, and 30s, 3 smoketech dct carto tanks, and the carto tank is what I grab if I don't have the time or space to fiddle with things to get a good vape. This is just my opinion though. Good luck to you! Hope this helps.

Looks Good.

The Only thing I would mention is that a 1300mAh Vision Spinner is a Long VVPV. About 4.5 in. Long.

Do you think you might want to have a Somewhat Shorter One for when you Out-n'-About? Perhaps a 650mah?

I too started with the Blu's, then moved to the volts, the ego-esk type with clearomizers. Now I have the innokin vv v3 with Iclear16's and iclear30's and it is amazing the difference. I wish I could go back and not waste my money on the blues, volts, and egos. I got my battery, 5 iclear 16's for around $50 as a kit and although I have to charge it throughout the day, it is a passthrough so it doesnt effect me. I have the same case you are buying and it fits my battery, charger, and 4 iclear 16's in it no problem.

Just wanted you to know how long it is.

When they first came out I was all set to buy one. I wanted something to carry around in my Shirt Pocket. But then it dawned on me that I didn't Really need a ton of mAh. I had that in my home PV.

That something Smaller was more what I wanted. I ended up buying a 650mAh. And am Very Happy with it.

rondaum,

I may have some of those blank cartos and misc. stuff for the blu in my inventory (lol). Heck, I may even have some of the ego-t tank equipment if you decide to go down that road. (Don't recommend that path my friend. Much better alternatives these days.) If you are interested in these items, PM me with your address and I'll mail them to you gratis. Just paying it forward man.

However, I agree with Baditude on his recommendations. You may learn that Baditude is one of ECF's most politic and highly respected members. Many of us owe him a great deal to the information he has brought to this forum.

really the size as far as height goes isn't that much. I had a 1300 but due to some issues (not the company's problem...faulty charger) replaced it but all they had left in orange was a 650. I'd say at most the 1300 is an inch taller but it is fatter around than the 650...
in the picture the 1300 mAh ego spinner was pretty much the same size/diameter of the highlighter
ironically the 1100 mAh is taller than the 1300

just an example of some different sized items...
Size Does Matter
For those out there with the "size problem"
Here is something to give a good judgement
