Hey guys!

Just joined the forum! :)

I've only been vaping for a few months. I'm still really new and don't have all the terms down; so please dont hate me. I was using an ego style ecig that i bought from a friend for $20 but after reading reviews and talking to experienced friends i bought an iTaste MVP 2.0. I'm using the iClear16 that came with it and 100% VG juice from a local vape store. I'm asking how do i get bigger clouds? im running at 4.2 right now. What tank should i get to increase vapor production? I'm not too sure about ohms and everything so try and keep it simple. Thanks guys!

Welcome to ecf mack:) Sounds to me like you are off to a great start. And I don't think you'll find many if any haters here. Newbs are welcome and tons of folks like myself love answering your questions or just saying welcome to the ECF. I just got a couple of iclear16s from a dear friend. This is my first time using iclear16s and I'm getting very fat fluffy tasty clouds. I vape 50/50 always. I like it best of all the ratios I've tried. I get great TH, vapor, and flavor so I just stick with 50/50. As for flavor, I've found that some flavors will taste better than others at different settings. I seem to stay in the 3.8 - 4.2 area depending on the flavor and atty. Just keep experimenting until you find what suits you best. There are lots of different ATTYs you can try and you are sure to eventually find some that produce gnarly clouds.

What juice are you using mack?
There are 2 main factors to clouds, the first is more airflow and you can't change that with a clearo. The other is to use high VG juice.........

ah yes air flow - my clear requires a strong draw - u might try drawing harder and breath a little into it to get it fired up with more air.

Dude, vaping is so fun. I've been vaping for more than a year now in my own little world. Started lurking ecf a while back and was blown away by all the incredible stuff that there is and all that can be done with ATTYs and mods. I'm a super newb even though I've been vaping for over a year. Vaping is awesome. This forum is awesome.

Thanks for the welcome! And great info, im actually really excited to play around with different tanks and find what i like best! Thats what i thought too! I'm using dark cherry and it tastes fantastic but i was getting bigger clouds on my eGo.

switch atomizer you are using on ego to MVP2 and see how it does - it is not the MVP 2 it is your iclear tank

Trying putting a couple of drops of distilled water right in your filled iclear. It sounds to me like it might just be coincidence that your juice isn't wicking well and not a problem with the MVP... VG is really thick. Somtimes it takes time for the consequence of thick juice to show up in the atomizer... might just have shown up. Also, there are Egos and then there are Egos. The Joye Ego C upgrade vapes at 3.3 volts regulated and around 3.5 to 3.7 unregulated for most of the time. There are Egos that are 3.7 volts regulated also. Set your MVP volts the same as the whatever Ego you were using and, like I said, thin your juice a bit with distilled water. It won't decrease taste (in fact it might increase it) but will lower your nic just a little... probably not enough to even notice. Welcome to ECF.:vapor:

Yes Vaping is awesome! i Switched to my other atty thats reads 2.2 omhs and the clouds are way bigger! Thanks guys, I look forward to getting more involved and honestly just reading through everything on this site! Everyone seems so nice and educated about vaping! :)

There are so many great folks here with a ton of information, tips, techniques, opinions and great sense of humor.
I'm not sure where I fit into any of those things though.

At 2.2 ohms you might try 4.2 volts and work up from there till the vape, th, and flavor are at the "sweet spot". Your ahead of the game Mack and heading down the right path. If you've dabbled in rebuild able atty's I could suggest the russian 91% or a kayfun lite clone. Fun to get dialed in and the vape experience is pretty damn sweet. Enjoy your journey....it's good times. :toast:

THis is the key here. Your MVP is a great mod and nothing beats being able to tailor the power to the juice/atty combo. Don't rush into cloud chasing without doing the research. Contrary to what some think going for the big clouds isn't necessary for a good vape experience and you can get big clouds out of just about any topper out there.

The key to big clouds is wicking and thats pretty much it. The more juice you can get to the coil the bigger the cloud will be. THats why you see cloud chasers using multiple coils and cotton, ss, ceramic and other types of wicks. Cloud chasing can go through a lot of juice in a short time. I have a friend that works for a local B&M that can burn through up to 1ml/hit on his quad coil set up.

You might invest in an Aspire Nautilus, Kanger Protank or Aerotank. I find them to be superior to the iClear 30. I'm hooked on the Nautilus and you WILL get clouds from it -- the iClears mute the flavor of the juice to me, where I get full flavor from the tanks I've mentioned. Especially fruity juices. I have used the iClears for menthol and tobacco flavors that are smoother from the lower flavor production.
