Was suggested to me with my unitank to carefully remove a few threads from the wick with tweezers. Didn't affect wicking and improved flow to the coil. 6wattsx1.5ohms=9. Square root of 9=3, so 3V should be a good starting point. Just a suggestion so you can use up them coils before you switch to 1.8ohms ;)

I have owned my MVP2.0 for more than 6 months and it is still my top mod that I use every single day when I'm at work or out and about . I love mechs as well and when I'm at home and can find time I enjoy using my magneto and a rba but honestly, and this is just my opinion, Dollar for dollar, the mvp2.0 is the best box mod you can own. Sure, there are many great box mods out there, but for $50- $75 the mvp is a work horse! And I'm sure you know from owning one that it is one tough sob.
I have tried many tanks on mine and this may sound crazy but IMO the I clear 30s performs amazingly well. For me, I get great flavor and incredible vapor. If you want to use rbas on it, I have found that the igo-l performs extremely well. You'd have to keep your builds at 1.0 ohm and above but it is still an amazing vape:)
I hope this helps!

The MVP is the best bang for your buck, $40 mod out there. If you're looking for another mod at that price, I'd just get a second. In fact, that's exactly what I did. Yes, you should have a back up PV, although the chances of the MVP running out of power on you are slim.

Rather then focusing on you battery as the cause of the lack of vapor, of look at your topper. I've heard great thugs about the Nautilus, but stocks heads on any clearo seem to be hit of miss. I prefer carto tanks over clearos for consistent vapor and taste. Granted, you run the chance of getting a bad carto too, but for the most part I've had great luck with them, they last longer then coils while in a tank, and the taste is great.

Tinnkiegrrl I swear I literally just bought a second one today!! I love these mods!!!!

They really are great, and do a lot for that price. Vape is pretty good too, with an even output of power. Whether for a main device or backup, I believe everyone should have one.

Hey everyone, I just bought an MVP 2.0 and the Aspire Nautilus tank. I think this setup is amazing for a beginner but I'm not satisfied with the vapor production, and I would like to upgrade.

What mechanical mod would you guys recommend? I think I would prefer a box mod, but any is fine. Thanks.

Did you mean an actual mechanical mod with no protection built in or did you just mean a mod in general?

For vapor production look at drippers: an RDA;
igo-l igo-w nimbus trident

Box mods: look at VTR and REO; the REO's are a full package usually, and not usually voltage regulated, but it's a semiautomatic dripper.

1. 67PG/33VG
2. My MVP is saying it is 1.5 - stock nautilus head
3. All different. Up to 5V

The VG is a little low but I've smoked a variety of juices with all different mixtures and the vapor is still lacking.

oh! if it's fog you want you need the reverse ratio! try 33PG/67VG
I use 25/75 myself, on a simple protank.

I think I'm going to get an ehpro kayfun lite plus. If you can get vapor from an MVP , then what is the point of a mech mod?

Are there any black mech mod clones? I prefer black to the silver lookm

A mech doesn't have electronics that might fail; more emphasis is placed on physical construction; one of the key things to look for in a mech is the center pin; that's where trouble comes on most mods and even ego batteries - center pin getting pressed in too far. Some mechs have floating pin, some even have spring loaded center pin.

If you get a mech remember to get a fuse for it, and optionally consider or cater for adding a dropin kick module.

a nemesis seems to be pretty modular and flexible.
