I've been debating on and off for a week about getting an e-cigarette. I quit smoking 5-1/2 weeks ago (I only smoked cloves)... I quit because I got tired of hacking up a lung every day. I don't need the nicotine, but I miss the actual act of smoking. I think I really want to try an E-cigarette. I've read over so much of these forums, and I still don't know what to do. I looked at the 510 (could have bought it today for... GASP... $80 at a local store)... but not sure I really want to deal with e-juice and all of that. So, I'm thinking that for my first one, I go with just a 2-piece. I was looking at the Premium E-cigarette, and looked at reviews on youtube for it, and it seems okay. But what I wanted to know, too, is can I buy other cartridges for it other than what is sold on Premium's website? Are cartridges interchangable? And if I choose, can I refill them with e-juice?

The main reason I was looking at Premium is they have the cartridges in clove. That's fairly important to me... I miss my cloves badly, but never want to go back to analogs.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I, too, missed the ACT of smoking enough to consider an e-cig. I got a double set of M401's from LitecigUSA, one for myself and one for my still-smoking GF. I had already quit, but really missed the psychological addiction. I vape no-nic juice, and love every minute of it. I have hit her 12mg juice once or twice, and felt no craving for nicotine return as I had feared.
I believe that a large portion of the addiction comes from the "additives" the cigarette companies "give" smokers with their tobacco... but I digress...
At any rate, if you feel you can control yourself, give the no-nic a shot! I found it took care of my need (especially that special variety that accompanies a cold one...lol).

The real challenge, it would seem, is to find a really GOOD clove e-juice. That is covered all over the place around here, though. Good luck!

Here's the thing: if you've already quit smoking, the argument could be made that it would be foolish to take up vaping if you did it using juice with any kind of nicotine content.

If you don't want to deal with ejuice, the only way to do that is with prefilled cartridges or cartomizers. The problem--aside from the notoriety of these devices for being filled with nasty, subpar juice--is that they're not nicotine-free (I could be wrong about--I'll be corrected happily if I am--but I've never seen nor heard of a 0 nicotine carto or cart, except for the empty ones, of course).

0 nicotine juice is all over the place, however, and using it to fill empty carts isn't difficult or all that inconvenient.

I know that volcano cigs offers prefilled carts in a few flavors that are kind of weak, but they at least aren't repulsive and come in 0 mg.... but buying prefilled carts is going to be much more expensive and much more limiting flavor wise than just filling your own carts.

Vapor 4 life also offers prefilled cartomizers in 0mg in a lot of flavors, but not refilling cartos is a bigger waste than not refilling carts.

i agree the problem i had at first is saying to myself this dont taste like a newport so you can watch videos but like evry one will tell you taste is subjective and it might take a little while for you to find the right e juice you really like for example i loved newports was smoking them for 17 years so the thought of trying other flavors didnt interest me at first but after not finding a newport flavor that i really liked i said what the heck might as well give it a shot now i find my self loving blueberry and also banana bread so i think as long as you can keep your mind open to new flavors just in case the clove doesnt taste like you remember you should be fine

The KR808d-1 is a nice two piece you might enjoy. vapor4life carries it and a LARGE selection of prefilled cartos and juice, including clove. I believe all of theirs are available in 0 nic. And, refilling cartos is a breeze using the condom refill method.

If you should decide to go the KR808 route, I strongly recommend the Manual XL batteries, even though they offer Auto.

The Premium is a model Kr808D-1. And you can get them for WAY less than what Premium is charging.

Check out LiteCig USA, FreedomSmokeUSA or Vapor4Life. Try no-nicotine juice

Just warning ya, it's going to get real expensive real fast if you only use prefilled cartos. Like, "as or more expensive than smoking" expensive. I go through 5-7 cartos a day. That's $7.50 - $10.50 a day, if you just toss them once they're empty.

Wow, thanks for the replies. I've found plenty of carts and liquids in flavors I want with 0 nicotine, and I don't plan on using nicotine. I won't be vaping a lot. I smoked 6 analogs a day when I was smoking, that's why I thought the cartridges would work out for me. The juice sounds like a good plan though, I guess it just seems overwhelming to start. I still haven't decided what to get, weighing my options. It's a really difficult choice, and I don't want to be buying several different ones. I just want to buy one and stick with it.

So, I'm thinking... the 510 with cartomizers? Do I have that right?
