I havent been able to successfully search and find much information on anyone using prosmoke, so i guess ill provide my input on it and also ask some questions.

I got my Prosmoke starter kit about 5 days ago and I really want to switch over 100% to vaping. Unfortunately I only got a 5 pack of carts and I went through them in about 4-5 days. I also lost one of the batteries and well also was learning how long the batteries even last! 1-2 worked pretty well for a full day of use provided that they were fully charged. The flavors were really nice but I did notice that there was a lot of “dripping” that occurred in the mouthpiece that I was not really enjoying and I noticed definitely cut back on the longevity of the carts, maybe someone can give me some advice on how to prevent this?

They are sending me some free carts due to this issue. They stated it may have been because of them getting thrown around during shipment, so we will see. I am waiting for my new battery and extra carts from them in the meantime. Unfortunately im back on analogs for the time being until I can maybe find a local smoke shop that has some e-liquid that I can refill my carts with. Needless to say all the information and products Is a bit overwhelming!

I read today that certain parts are interchangeable with other brands, does anyone know what parts work with the prosmoke?? Like I said I cant really find much info on this specific brand on here for some reason.

Well that’s pretty much it, im really happy to find something to switch too from regular smoking, I just hope I can sort through all this information to help decide on maybe a better product or whatever. I can very easily see myself switching over permanently!

My kids got me a prosmoke starter kit for Father's day last year. Not to be the bearer of bad news, but the only good thing about it was it got me into vaping.

The batteries and atomizers they sell are the old M-40x models (403 I believe, but 401/402/403 are all basically the same). Absolutely nobody (except prosmoke) sells anything compatible with them anymore. The batteries don't last very long, and they only sell auto batteries (which is probably why they don't last very long). The cartridges are expensive, hold very little juice (if you choose to refill them, and if you don't refill them they cost way more than analogs to buy), and frankly don't taste very good once you try anything else. At the time I was able to buy some CE-2 clearomizers that fit them, which helped a lot, but nobody seems to sell those anymore.

Do some research on this forum and you'll come up with tons of ideas for replacement of your prosmoke kit. And please don't consider buying it a waste. It got you here and started you on the path.

My ProSmoke purchase is ONE of my early purchases that I regret. Taste is subjective but that was my initial disappointment. Then - there were a couple almost dry carts in my starter along with the rest which seemed to be over-filled. One battery was fine, the other -well, it was good for about an hour. This is the unit that taught me about about the far too common practice of vendors trying to make their parts non-interchangeable with other suppliers. I gave my remaining parts to a lady friend who discovered that M403 stuff works with them.
Let me end with some positives - I really like the PCC used it for a whole week worked great except for the bad battery. Their shipping is really fast. The packaging is some of the best in the industry. And of course, that was another week without tobacco - now, THAT's positive!

PS - If you're new and watching YouTube video reviews - check the views & comments section while you're at it. Of course, if you are here on ECF just ask.

thanks alot for the insight! i definately will be sticking around on here for a while till i sort through all the information.

I for sure thought i was going to get flamed to death for my question since its probably somewhere already posted, i was just having a hard time understanding the model numbers and stuff. so thanks!

I ordered just one cart box and a new battery since i lost one of mine, and they are going to also send me some free carts for my previously problematic ones.

Getting the itch to vape and seriously sick of my analogs i decided to hit up a smoke shop on the way home yesterday and picked up some juice that they had there, paid a little more than i wanted but i said what the hell. It was like 12 bucks for a 7ml bottle of "high" nic lvl but it doesnt say what "high" is rated as but it seemed comparable to the 18mg that i had with the prosmoke stuff, it was also VG which i think i like, i havent tried PG yet though so i guess im bias until then lol

Took it home and refilled my carts that i had and vap'd the night away! As an update i pretty much filled the carts to the T and it didnt even come out of the tip like it had before, i think it did ONCE but that was cause i dropped it and hit it too hard.

Im debating finishing the carts once they get in the mail and then maybe requesting a refund on my starter kit...I really wana try something similar in this "size" as it suits me, but wouldnt mind something that requires less cartridge swapping and had SLIGHTLY longer battery life...

Something like the Vapor for life with the small tank and drip tip might be good but i think i could deal with a slightly bigger battery, but i think i like the tank and drip tip idea...makes for less hassle.

Budget is my biggest concern right now, so im really looking for the cheapest alternative

Prosmoke was my first purchase and it was horrible. Too expensive and the cartridges are garbage. They lasted about 20-30 puffs and then completely dried out. I returned the product under the 30 day money back "guarantee" and they only refunded $69 out of the $104 I paid, because the cartirdges were non-refundable. The three piece design is also garbage.

If you're looking for a starter kit that has an analog feel, go with the Volt from smokelessimage.com. you should be able to find a 15% coupon somewhere on this forum. Been using this kit for about a month now and I'm extremely happy. Go ahead and get a few packs of blank cartos to try out different juices.

After the disposable Blu cigs I used to get off of analogs (crappy, but extremely effective), I too "upgraded" to ProSmoke. Don't you know that they're rated the "#1 electronic cigarette in the industry"? ;-) yeah, I fell for it, too, and as others have mentioned, the biggest thing here is that you're heading in the right direction and kudos to you for sticking with it. You'll get the rig you need soon enough and will look back fondly at this experience (after you get past the hit to your credit card, that is). I must say that though their product is awful, their customer service was more than excellent and better in some cases than "real" e-cig companies that sell quality products. After sending me multiple atty replacements and extra carts for my troubles, they were ready to process a full refund if I was till dissatisfied. Ended up giving it to a co-worker who liked it as it was so it all worked out. An ego/kgo battery, some quality juice and your choice of atty/carto/tank/clearo and you're off on your way. If the "analog-style" e-cig is really why you're after, folks here have raved about the Volt (smokelessimage.com), Bloog or Smoov (all 3 are essentially the same thing, great performance, customer service and good flavor on their pre-filled carts). Good luck.

Yea im finding that i dont really like changing out carts, its kind of a pain, i think a tank style like Joyce Ego with a drip tip is gona be what im gona get.

I am getting some more carts in the mail from prosmoke, i wish i wouldnt have gotten them cause the liqiud i got is pretty good and is almost the same if not better than the prosmoke UGHH.. Oh well as soon as i get it im gona request a refund and hope i get most of my money back to invest in the Joye Ego with the stuff i want.

Any thoughts on that particular one?

Hi Junkster and welcome to ECF. If you want a cig sized PV the best one out there is the Volt. It has a HUGE and loyal following and prolly the best customer service in the industry BUT it is an 808 threading.

As for purchasing the eGo I would suggest you not buy the cartridge+ tank system- very problematic in regards to leaks- either buy cartos or clearomizers. If you want a similar starter kit the Kgo is far superior battery wise- true 3.7 volts- about $50 for a starter kit. Realize 100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping before recharge.
Then there's the VV eGo Twist- starter kit costs about $65+.
Good Luck
