So I recently upgraded to a nautilus mini, with a spinner 2 vv battery. I'm trying to find whatever combo will give me the best vape and flavor. Now I know this all boils down to personal preference. But just trying to get some tips.
Does pg/vg ratio matter? Ive heard higher the vg, more vape production. I currently use mostly 50/50 and I've been getting pretty inconsistent hits as far as both flavor and vape.
How much does wattage affect your vape? I go between 3.3 and 4.3v. coils are 1.8 so think I'm going up to 11 watts. Any higher than 4.3 and my hits are just harsh, at 12 and 18mg. But again, no matter what I set it to it can be inconsistent.
Just a little overwhelmed. When I get a really good hit, I love it. But a few later and it feels like I'm blowing {MODERATED} smoke out with no flavor (have 2 tanks, swapped coils out, thats not it). I generally use mt baker vapor. Kinda just hoping I'm using the wrong mix or maybe they just don't have good juices. Or maybe my setup is crap, but I feel it's decent and I should be getting more out of it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

hmm inconsistency is hard to nail down...
You say you get a good hit, then it gets weak.. does it get harsh? How do you have the airflow setup? My guess is you are not getting enough juice into your coil. These are vacuumed based systems, so if you are pulling too light the juice may not be correctly feeding into the head as there isnt enough negative pressure to "pull" the juice into the head.
That's a guess though.. Sorry I cant do much better than that :S

Im in the same boat as you. I have gone through a Kanger tank, a Nautilus Mini and now I have an Atlantis on a Hana Modz DNA 30 and I still am chasing the vapor trail. I dont know if it's your Juice or not, but I have about 40 that I have bought in the past month, trying to find the flavor. Although, if I have found flavor, it tends to always be chemically tasting. As to the hits, how long is your draw? If I do several long draws in a row, I can get burnt tasting hits too. Also, remember that if your using a coil that had a juice on it that was say, fruitty, and switch to one that is say, a bakery flavor, it can cause some screwey flavors, and some high VG juices seem to clog my atomizers, so you might want to check that as well. Best of luck to you, and Glad to have another vaper on the forums. :)

High VG and dark liquids gunk coils quickly. Also certain flavors (as you have found). The perfume taste is usually a sign that it needs to age/breath more. MBV is notorious for this as all their juice is made to order.

I run a similar set up but with a iStick mod. I also order from Mt Baker. I find that with the mini tank, assuming you are using the BVC model, that cranking out that many watts can run your ceramic wick dry. I'm a chain vaper and find this to be the case with a 50/50 mix. The higher VG doesn't wick as fast. Mt Baker has various mixes available...I find the 65PG/35VG being nearly perfect. When you tip the bottle you can see the thickness difference between the two. I personally like MB juices and their prices.
