O and fyi, im vaping 3-4mls a day at present. It has gone up a bit since dropping nic strength, but It was more like 5-7 ml a day for the first week i dropped nic down this low, so im probably adjusting. At first I was doing more like 1-2 mls a day of higher strengths, I had bad heart palpitations and breathlessness. A fling disposable which has one ml, lasted me a whole day and I was chained to it. They seem to last a long time even though they are just one ml, maybe its cause of low wattage battery. But it Seems most people vape more when they first drop nic content until they get used to it.

on a evod a few mg is quite low between like 5-15 watts, but if its a satisfying amount then thats the main thing. Alot may drop the nic level when using higher wattages/sub ohming tho as it ends up being too much. Usually the signs of too much nic can be feeling nauseous, feeling spaced out, maybe a headache too, i guess its possible to feel other symptoms but it'll be very rare. Usually a headache is more rare than feeling nauseous or feeling spaced out though and in that case most would probably cut down their vaping for a bit, maybe try to lower their nic or wattage. Its not a big worry though in that case, if someone vaped very strong nic theyd probs feel to sick to keep vaping that strength generally. Increased heart rate is possible too actually, I think that can be controlled a bit but can be tricky, but yea its best to lower nic in that case,

I think there can be withdrawal symptoms from some of the other chemicals in cigs tho like the maoi's apparently in the tobacco and others. Also the detoxification from those chemicals can cause changes like acne or some coughing too for a while.

I just realized that I meant voltage wen I said wattage. Are they the same thing? My evod is 3.7 volts. Which is standard I think? I use atomisers between 1.5 and 2.5ohm. I know ohm effects nic absorption rates too (boy have I learnt alot about this vaping thing in these months! ) I have a few different types of atomisers, just to try the difference. 3-4mg nic is satisfying mostly, as long as I like the flavour. Strawberries and cream and irish cream (diy with tfa flavor concentrates) really hit the spot right now. And chocolate. Sometimes I find myself still craving more nic, and chain vaping, but I think I was sometimes the same on higher nic and even cigarettes. Sometimes nothing seems like enough! I never really got the nausea or headache symptoms of over niccing. Just racing heart, light headed and over all feeling unwell, tired, not myself. I dont think the acne was quit zits, as it started only several days into vaping, and I quit cigarettes mpre then several times for up to two weeks (did 2weeks cig and nic free at least twice over the past couple of years, and many more times for a few days or a week) with no acne at all and generally felt much better off the smokes and nic. I dont think people who are light smokers like I was (5-10 a day mainly and some periods of less then 5 a day too) and only smoked for less then a few years get too many quitting side effects. I really think it was too much nic giving the sides. Also nrt is known to sometimes cause acne, hair loss amoung other unpleasant things for some people. Its not a perfectly safe chemical for everybody, and im sure for some it truly is a poison. I certainly have not felt well since vaping. I know in part its to do with the fact that I naively went to too high a strength for what my smoking level was. But even now on a very low strength I still don't feel right. More run down then I was even as a smoker. My friends and family have noticed. Im more tired, and Ive lost the radiance in my face :( ive lost weight too (I was already slim so not a bonus!). Before u ask, yes, i do pay attention to drink plenty of water!! I think im just one of those unfortunate people who doesn't tolerate nicotine well! I will have to plan an exit from vaping nicotine, and im on the road to it. Shame, cause vaping is certainly enjoyable! I think some people might respond differently to nic in e liquid compared to nic from burnt tobacco. I guess its a concentrated form in e liquid, just like the nic in patches, gum etc, and it is well know that some people respond to nrt very different to ciggarettes.

Yes I sure am getting the hang of this vaping thing. I make 70% vg liquids mostly, and its so great knowing I can control my nic level. Ill be tapering down by half mls. I have many liquids already at 3.5mg, next step 3, and ill work my way down till zero. Hoping I can get there within a few months without wanting to return to smoking. I want my health back, which is why I switched to vaping in the first place, but it looks like itll have to be a bridge to getting off nic asap if I want to reach my goal

Yea the watts is the measure used by most these days but the device itself just delivers volts and then calculates the watts based on the resistance of the atomizer. I guess its possible anything can have different reactions with people, even with medicines people react very differently so it can be hard to predict.

I agree if you have not smoked for many years its less likely that you would get side effects from missing the cigarettes though. Could be an idea to try some simple flavors too though in a separate tank with a high pg content if its not a sub tank like the evod tank etc and see if theres a similar effect or if using a subtank to use a coil greater than 1.2 ohms and not too high watts. Usually if theres any issues its with pg than vg but its possible there could be the other way round. I think theres a chance some flavourings could have some different effects though but not really heard about it

I guess its hard to think up any more suggestuions, its certainly quite a rare thing I have not read about though so far. Some add some extras to 0 nicotine to retain a throat hit like koolada i think is one also a chili flavouring in small amounts instead. Pg also will give more throat hit than vg but then also can dry the mouth/throat more.
