I am new to vaping, but a friend got me hooked on his and i am looking to buy a joye 510 dual starter kit at nicotine nirvana .com and was wondering if anybody has ordered from this website, as i dont want to waste my money or time from a crap website. Also if you know of a better place to buy this kit for cheaper or just because the website/service is better let me know. thanks!

Looks good. Cignot.com is competitive and a favorite around here, but checkout NN's post in the suppliers forum for a discount code, if you haven't seen:

Might be the best deal on an eGo too now that puresmoker's $59 sale is over as of yesterday.

I will definately check them out. Btw should i go with the 510 or the ego, not sure what the difference is, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you tell me what cigs you smoked before and what it was you like about them? Many people do start out with a 510 but to truly enjoy your vaping experience to be matched up with an e-cig that closely matches your old analogs will help.

As a guy who started with the 510, I have to say its a great unit, but the battery recharges drove me crazy. (about and hour and half on each batt). So I next went to the Ego (which is basically a 510 with a MEGA BATTERY and a cone). The Batts on the Ego last 6 to 8 hours for a moderate user.

If I were to start over, I would go with the Ego from the start. To me, it is worth the extra $. And I agree with others here....stay with ecf approved vendors. Nhaler.com has the Ego (or even the Riva clone) at a good price (especially with the discount code) and I've had great luck with my multiple orders from them so far.

Good Luck,
Rich

aNOlog, just went to their site. You'd be getting a kit with only ONE complete 510 for $40.00. If you go here 510 Manual Battery Kit (Black), no Box you'd get a kit with TWO full 510s for $33.00 and they're a tried and true ECF fave. Another good place for a 510 kit is here Joye 510 NO BOX Two full cig kit for $35.00

I would suggest an eGo for someone who doesnt need the cig feel. I Love my eGo but I think if I had started eith that I may have not stopped smoking . I needed the skinny ecig feeling to replace my cigs. Then I went to the bigger batteries.

The eGo is the same as a 510 except it is a bigger battery the girth is equivalent to a aa size battery if that helps give an idea.

before trying the ecig i smoked Marlboro smooths. i liked the flavor and the fact that they arent that harsh.

While a 510 is a nice vape the atomizers do burn the hottest of the 801, 901 and 510. An ego is a nice investment because it does provide a nice vape and the battery life is quite good as well. I would hate to see you buy something and not be happy with it. If it were my suggestion I would have you try one of my 901's before you did a 510 to see if you would like a 901 better then the 510. you can put a 901 atty on an ego with an adapter but you would not be able to use the cone which would defeat the purpose.

Perhaps you should start out buying something cheaper so that you can see if you prefer the 901 atty to the 510 atty. What do you think?

I'd go with the eGo myself if I had to do it over again. I started with the 510 and while it was great, the eGo is superior. The battery will last me all day and the vape is more powerful IMO than the regular 510.

If you buy from Cignot, you will actually get 2 full eGo's for what used to be the price of one right now and they are WELL worth it. Just be sure to get liquid to go with your device, whatever you get. I personally do not like the stuff that comes in the carts. Cignot also has a choice of the round tip carts or whistle tip carts. I MUCH prefer the whistle tip carts, but be sure to specify them in the notes if you order.

Good luck with whatever decision you make. Your decision to come here was a great start!!

so, does the 510 battery really suck, about how much time vaping does it provide, and is the ego battery really better than the 510?
Well if you like to change batteries and wait for other ones to charge then the regular 510 is for you. I super chain vaped in the beginning, I always was out of battery.
The eGo lasts me 7-8 hours easy.

i am thinking that i am going to start with the 510, its only 35 and has 2 batteries. from what ive seen here most people that have a 510 are pretty happy with them, and i see that cignot has a spare battery for 20 if i find that i use batteries fast.

I would order the spare battery if you can afford it with the kit. If you go with the 510 . That way you can have one charged , use one and have one charging. That should work.

You'll just be 'swapping' the 2 batteries you get with the kit back and forth off the charger, no need to buy a spare..but, DO buy some spare atomizers!! If they crap out on you, no vaping. AND, get some liquid, the pre-filled carts only last 15-20 mins before they start to dry out.

Or, if you CAN swing it, order the EGo.

Good luck and we're here if you need us! (Expect for the good Col., we're going into the closet together for a little while..)

I would highly recommend that you get a PCC or a passthrough to with the kit. The case charges one battery while you use anothe one and will hold an extra atomizer and a 3 carts I think.

I forgot to say Welcome to ECF earlier...sorry :-(. WELCOME!!
