$30 plus priority shipping & ins = $40. We're moving this weekend so went for the "express" shipping lol It's the plain jane starter kit & includes the battery, atomizer, usb charger & 10 cartridges. The methol is more like spearmint; luv it :)

As far as cost in the long run, every 6-7 days I buy a 5oz bag of Largo tobacco for $8 - 200 king filters is $2.39 and a pack of bugler papers .89, so basically $12-15/wk for 2 people. I smoke/ed almost a pack a day, only 4 of those during a 9hr work day/drive.

I just got the Eluma last night and have only had 4 cigarettes since last night and I'm about to crash for the night. There is DEFINITELY a learning curve, since I have to make a conscious effort NOT treat it like a one-hitter; yeah, I've coughed a lung a couple times but I feel like I'm getting the hang of it already :D

Where we're moving is non-smoking, I have asthma and have smoked for 22 years. If I don't smoke cigs, my asthma only really acts up when cleaning (we have a cat I WAS allergic to).

I'm 26 pages into various sections of the forum, already looking at cart mods for fillers but not ready to try dripping lol Manual batteries are definitely something to look into too. I like the idea of flavors, but more along a fruity line like grappel or watermelon; nothing too sweet.

These e-cigs are an AWESOME thing :D Just peeking in to say hi!

Hey welcome! Lol, Buttersmom. (I giggled at that one, thinking of Southpark.) And Butters looks so cute in your avatar!

I can't tell what the Eluma is. It looks like a Blue. It may be 510 cartomizers. IDK.

I started with the KR808. The whole vape thing was a bit expensive to start out. I have a rainbow of flavors but settled so far with some unique blends. I will tell you this, you will save more money by refilling your carto's. I'm not sure if I've really saved any money as compared to smoking as I was rolling my own as well. I am saving my health and the frustration of rolling and stuffing tubes with tobacco. I sure love the taste of vaping as compared to smoking though. Throughout the day I switch between 4 basic flavors as my mood suites me.

There is alot of info here and I mean alot. I learn stuff here all the time. So, if you have and question at all, the good people here are sure to help.

Hi buttersmom. I just went to Eluma's site to see what model it is and I can't tell. There doesn't seem to be a way to order spare parts either. You will find that one battery and one atomizer just won't be enough. If you have to order a new kit every time you need something that cheap ecig is going to get more expensive fast.
If we could identify what model it really is we could steer you to sources for attys and batteries. Get some more posts under your belt so you can post some pics and we will help.

I have an Eluma setup.

To be honest- I do not like it very much. But I think that has to do more with their juice than anything. Decent vapor.

Mt personal favorite, is as many others say, the nJoye 510. I will try to refill an Eluma cartridge with my favorite juice and see if that helps.

Good luck! You will probably try more than one setup in your time.

Eluma has their spare sparts at the bottom of the the product page (link at the top - I can't post it yet).

Not much to them - basically a pack charger w/batts & attys. $15 for the batteries - $10 for the atomizers. I will definitely get some juice for refilling somewhere else, the eluma has just pre-filled cartridges for sale. They SAY on the site, basically, to not even attempt using opp's (other people's parts) but lol I'm sure I'll probably pick up a different one eventually, it's a little tight right now but things will even out after we move.

Gotta run, lunch is almost over. I'll be home cruisin the board tonight - when I'm NOT painting the last wall lol

Thats what I was worried about. It looks like a two piece so that must be a cartomizer. It looks like the threads are on the outside of the carto, so maybe a 510. Maybe. I have a feeling its an E9 or an E8 but I've never physically seen them to know it parts are interchangeable.

Buttersmom, did you find this section:

The ECF Library - E-Cigarette Forum

I had a real hard time deciding what I wanted first. There are so many companies out there. It is best to go with a standard model since there are many, many company's that supply each kind of basic model. You will save money by buying only what you need. Especially just juice after yous settle on your equiptment.

Yes, post some pictures Mom and say hello to Butters.

ah, you posted that as I was posting.
