I would agree with dickrrr. I find that there are advantages to using tank setups as well as cartos. Sometimes when I just want no fuss, I fill up a car to because they tend to leak less and just work. However the flavor is muted with the filling they use.

So what I am hearing a lot of you saying is that if I buy the DCT Cartomizer from apollo with the vtube, I may not be fully satisfied wtih the flavors of my juices because of the filler of the cart inside the tank of the product? I didn't realize it had filler in it; thought it was just a "tank" - don't know any better!

So, the vivi isn't a cartomizer at all, really, but a tank without filler? Am I getting this? I want good flavor; true flavor of whatever I'm vaping, and I know hubby will, too.

He truly hated that tobacco flavor disposable from apollo - the free one. I will check out the WI supplier for several flavor options, too. Thanks!

The vivi nova and the mini vivi really are the best of all worlds at the moment. No filler inside has replacable heads that can be re-used over and over and doesn't leak. Some say it mutes the flavor but I have had no problems. It is the best thing I have found so far and I use it daily on the twist. The twist is a little bigger than the cig look-alikes but my 900mah lasts all day and is VV. Used to use the little ones and spent my day charging batteries, I sure had enough of that real fast. If you are not needing the variable voltage the 1100 mah KGO work well to and will last all day.

With the standard heads you can buy for the vivi nova, I did have some issues with it muting the flavor on light flavored juices such as the cool melon I have, but on stronger flavored juices like the chocolate covered strawberries it has been awesome.

Now recoiling the heads myself and using cotton I have not had those issues.

That muting flavor jazz is overblown. I drip as well as using the Nova and I swear I can't tell a lick of difference in taste. Not saying others aren't experiencing it, but I certainly am not. I tried carto's and good lord...blech, taste like ..... Which sucks for me cuz there are some really awesome carto tanks out there, but no way am I using carto's. I tried it all in order to find what worked for me. The Vivi Nova works very, very well for me.

I'm so glad the original poster is jumping straight into variable volt straight off. It's a great decision no matter which VV device it is. I have two Twists, a LavaTube and a ProVari arrives in mere minutes. They all will be sporting vivi nova's!
