New to vaping...why so many metal options for coils?

Thanks for the add, I'm new to vaping, trying to stop smoking. Have been vaping for about 2 weeks now.

My kit is a Kanger Subvod and I've really only tried tobacco flavours so far...American Patriots and Euro Gold from Naked 100 e juice.

I bought an Ijoy Captain 270 and a Tobeco Super Tank 25mm as my new kit and waiting for shipment.

Still trying to figure out what the difference between stainless steel, kanthal and nickel coils are....

Keep it simple. vapers like to make it more complicated than it should be. I have many vaping friends when talking about e-cigs I don't have a clue what there talking about. I'm not saying anything bad about the people but I need to keep it simple. So I went to the nearest Vape store and for 40 Buck's I purchased a very durable platform I have been using it for a year,I rebuild my own coil about every six months and I smoke my ... off.

Nickel wire I used to use was thin and I'd just replace them, with the Clapton SS coils with the outer winding they hold up and can be burnt clean then rewicked, makes everything quicker and easier, it took a while but I'm finally able to use it.

Great post, I do exactly the same as you. I don't understand why the community makes it so complicated. I guess they're just smarter than me.
