New to vaping, would this be all I need? Or do I have to get a starter kit?

I have spend a few days and many many hours trying to figure this stuff out. I have some experience with vaping, all of it bad... 3 years ago, it was great when it worked, but way too many defects, batteries and attys lasting 3-4 days if I am lucky, and 2 USP passthroughs that attempted to set my bed on fire. Recently tried a Mistic ecig, I liked it, ended up buying 2, they lasted 3 weeks. :(
Soooo. I figure from all the reading, go with an Ego... It was between the Ego-T and Ego-C, but I was wondering do I really need a kit, or can I just do this?: [1]
1 Joyetch eGo USB Charger
2 JoyeTech eGo-C TWIST Batteries 1000mAh
5 Kanger T2 V2 Sunfire 2.4 - 2.6ohm Clearomizer / Cartomizer
5 Kanger T2 V2 Sunfire Replacement Atomizer Heads (2.2. -2.4ohm )
Also I see the Stardust CE4 V2, but don't see replacement atomizers, although they are are $1 cheaper, any opinions between the 2 are welcomed.
Any opinions on how the battery life and atomizers are? How long do the tanks last? I just do not want to be buying new atomizers, and battries every few days or weeks.
Thanks.

Realize the 650 is 3 1/2" while the 1000 mah is 5" long- add to that another 2 1/2" for the Clearomizer. You may also want a wall adapter. I'd also order the mini Vivi nova 2.4 ohms. Much better draw and higher quality and rebuildable. 2.0 ml fits best on Twist. $8.95 includes 3 heads: ElectronicStix.Com : Vision Vivi Nova Tanks and Parts

Hello there. It looks like that would be a decent setup. I myself haven't used any of those clearomizers. I have only used the Vivi Nova. That worked great BTW. The heads are easily replaceable and can easily be recoiled. The twists are great. With my experience, which isn't a whole lot, I can get the heads on the vivi novas to last a couple weeks. I am not a really heavy vaper though. I would say that I go through about 2 mls a day. I think that most will say that 2-3 mls is about the equivalent of a pack a day. Of course, I have also read that if you were a PAD smoker than you might even go through more than that just because its easier to vape and in general you can do it more places than you could smoke. As far as battery life goes, its pretty much 1 hour/100mAh. If that wasn't your question, and you're really asking how the battery will last you before having to replace it, I cant really attest to that either. I upgraded to a Provari before my batteries died. Sorry if I wasn't much help. Just keep trying out different things to find what you need to keep you off the "real" things.

Welcome back to vaping and to ECF.

I think you will be in for a very pleasant surprise at how well your goodies will work compared to what was available a few years ago. I didn't even try vaping then because I don't have the patience for balky, persnickety gear. Since starting a little less than a month ago I've not had anything misbehave which has been a huge help.

You will probably want to get wall adapter for the USB charger.

Some people prefer cartomizers to the clear tanks so you might want to get a package of five of those. You can also use those for juices like cinnamon and acidic fruits that aren't friendly to plastic tanks.

I wouldn't get the Stardusts because their atomizers aren't replaceable.

If you plan on ordering a lot of juices to try you might want to get a couple of atomizers and a drip tip to test them.

I used to some 2+ packs a day and get a smidge less than a day from my 900 mAH Twists. I'm using Vivi Novas instead of Kangars so can't comment on how long the atomizer heads last. However, I haven't noticed any complaints about them being unusually short-lived.

Yep, all the hardwares you need to start vaping are there. Get the ViviNova and learn how to rewick to save yourself some $$$ down the road, but if you think it's too much of a hassle then stick with the Kanger T2 since their replacement heads are fairly inexpensive. As for the batteries, the starter kit VapoorEyeEr mentioned is a great deal even if it's non-genuine Joyetech Egos (showing out of stock for the moment). I purchased my EgoTwist clones at VaporBeast here($20 shipped), and have no issues so far. If you have a preference to purchase 'genuine' Joyetech EgoTwists, then I would recommend purchase it from HC here. It's shipped from China so expect longer delivery time. The price may be slightly higher than some of the US venders, but instead of the usual 30 day warranty they offer 90 day warranty (used to be 180). Regardless of genuine or clone, make sure you purchase from reputable venders who offers at least one month warranty. :vapor:

I think you have a pretty good idea of what you need, except one thing:

the juice.

Oh yea, I knew that. I plan to make my own.. I loved Redbull, so wizardlabs.us has that, also gonna try 4 or 5 other flavors.

To those that mentioned the wall charger, I have a couple, so won't need it.... Also I added:
Vision Mini-Vivi Nova v2.5 Clearomizer Kit
1 replacement tank and 2 replacement heads 2.4

Not too bad so far up to $107 and have a 12% discount coming on that.

I think because as someone mentioned the size, I do want the 650mAh passthru, but they only have it in pink, but I guess I could sand it down or paint it.

Thanks for all the input, I am open ears.

Just my opinion is that I bought 8 gv stardust and will never buy another. I filled one up last night with a juice I really enjoy and this morning it was all over the napkin I set it on. I got some bottom coils that I really like for draw and smooth taste but don't have a name for em.

Elec To Smoke Electronic Cigarettes

After checking their warranty, I would advise staying away from that vender.

Via their T&C (Terms)

"This site and the materials and products on this site are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind...."

I bought standard starter kit from V2 Cigs about a month and a half ago and I absolutely love it! I chose the extra long batteries and I have only been without a charged battery twice. Once was the result of an extended trip and another time was because my boyfriend unplugged my charger to charge his phone! That was not pretty. Otherwise have been quite happy and am very fond of the coffee flavored cartridges.
