new to vaping

I'm new to vaping myself, been at it for a little over a month. The Joye 510 works really well for me. I think the biggest drawback is the battery life, but it doesn't bother me. I have four batteries on hand, and three chargers. I just keep the three I'm not using in the chargers and it works out well for me.
If you want something with a longer battery life, I see people on here recommend the Ego or the Riva 510. I haven't tried them myself, but I may eventually give them a try. For now the Joye 510 is working out great for me. I like the smaller design. I was looking for something the most like an analog cig as possible. But now I have no desire whatsoever for analogs, it might be time to try something else :p
To pass on some information someone gave me on this forum, go to E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings and click on the link in the top left corner for a discount if you decide to go with one of their models. I've been buying all my parts from them, and so far the experience has been wonderful.
Good luck!

*EDIT- I would suggest if you go with the Joye 510 to get the one with the manual button. From what I understand, it works a bit better, and you won't be as likely to destroy the battery from flooding the atty with juice. I use the manual and I love it.

Which e-cig you start with really depends on how much you smoke. Smaller batteries mean shorter times between charges, especially if you use them a lot. This usually doesn't work out well for people who were heavy smokers. If you smoked half a pack or less per day then you'd probably do well with the smaller cigarette look-a-like batteries.

If you smoke more than that then you'll probably do better with a bigger battery; a Riva or an eGo. These don't resemble a cigarette at all, but they last much longer between charges.

The 510 is a great starter ecig, and you can buy them for about 30-35 bucks free shipping. Eventually you'll upgrade to a Ego or Leo due to better battery life, you'll get tired of changing the 510s battery every 30 minutes of chain vaping. And the 510 is just not a good ecig to take out on the town due to it dieing on you in 1 hour.
You can get the 510 starter kit for 30 bucks send me a PM I'll give you the site I buy, and atomizers are 3 bucks, egos are 36 bucks for the kit.. They are free shipping over 40 USD, and have good response. best prices i found anywhere.

I am fairly new myself, have 3 different brands, like the vapor king from vapor4life.com the best. It is pretty inexpensive, their carts are like 9.95 per box, they have like 159 different flavors, three types of juice, and offer manual batteries in all sizes. There is almost always a discount code available. Just purchased another battery at 30%off. Never tried the 510 though.

same here i bought the Vapor King Ultimate Ultimatum Manual Starter Kit and have been thoroughly pleased with it. good battery life (the short batteries that come with the kit a single one lasts me all day...i was a pack a day smoker), the flavors (cool carts) are great ( i prefer the Kamel carts myself)

I went to the libert flights site and was confused on the whole atomizer and cart setup. I was looking for a two piece which I think they call a cartomizer. How long does an atomizer last?
The KR-808 is two piece, that's what I started with and it was great. The downside is the battery life just like the 510, but if anyone had suggested something more complicated than that when I was first starting out I never would have made it past the first week without analogs. I did a quick search and see that one of the ecf vendors offers a kit that is pretty cheap The Easy E-Cigarettes . Even though I have moved on to 'mods' and 'ego's' I still use that kr-808 at times, it's so small and inconspicuous =)
