Hi all,

I currently smoke 'analogs' and have been doing research on the eCigs my father gave me (because he bought them and thought they were a pain in the a**). They are GreenSmoke brand and I have found blank cartomizers for them but I am becoming a bit more health conscious and am wondering how basic the formula for juice can be? Is it just as simple as PG/VG and nicotine with flavoring?

Greensmoke is one of the thousands of lookalikes. Performace is rarely good, though some folks have quit using just these things. How is beyond me because if you get something just a bit better you'll have better results.

And yeah, e-juice isn't much more then PG/VG nicotine and flavoring. But getting it right isn't easy either. There's a whole section here on making your own.

Sometimes it's all in your mind. I had a customer come in to the ecig store I worked at raving about how she was a 2+PAD smoker and hadn't had a cigarette in a week with a 4081 model. After talking a bit she told me she was impressed with how long the juice lasts. She's used only about 1ml in the week she'd been using it.

Turns out the atomizer she had was dead on arrival and she never realized that it worked any differently. I hooked her up with a new atomizer and she was blown away that it actually "smoked"

The whole concept of the hand to mouth kept her off smokes for a week with no nicotine. Anyhow, I guess my point is that there is no right or wrong pv set up for anyone. Some people do great on small ecigs while others require more.

I say whatever works. They aren't one size fits all.

Several vendors sell unflavored eliquid. I get mine from MyFreedomSmokes and they let you choose what base you want the nicotine in PG/VG or a mix of the 2 as well as the strength. I vape unflavored quite often and just cut the higher strength unflavored down with straight PG and VG which you can get from them as well.

Yeah, but its not overpoweringly sweet. It's just a really mellow vape with a slight sweet taste to it. I started vaping unflavored when my taste buds went south for awhile and everything started to taste the same. I DIY my bf's eliquid so I had the stuff around. I figured there was no point in wasting my good juice until my taste came back.

I still keep a bottle of it when I get tired of flavors and keep a couple clearomizers filled with it as backup when I'm out and about.

I'll say one thing, my cartos last forever when I only use unflavored in them.

Get your dad a Provari and a tank filled with some strawberry cheese cake in it. Bet he would like that. Good luck and welcome. I started out on the mini ecigs also and just got my first tank today. Its heaven. A cig can no longer compare. I was a die hard for 15 years and its only been 4 months. I will never smoke a cig again. If only everyone that started found the rite tools they would never go back. Instead lots of us take the cheap, uninformed route, and end up back sliding.
