Hi all!

Iam completely new to vaping and have been using my ego-c a lot since it was recommended to me by my cousin who uses the ego-t. I wanted to get this originally to help me cut down and so far it's working. I have gone from half pack to a quarter pack within two weeks. I was hoping some of you could help me answer some questions.

Whats the main purpose of mods? I got a cartomizer when I purchased my kit because I have a bad experience with the tanks. I like how it doesn't leak and how well it smokes.

Is there an easy way to clean the cartomizer should I decide to change flavours after this bottle? I don't want o be mix mashing flavours if I don't have too. What is a recommended method for cleaning the CE4 Cartomizer?

If I have any more questions I will be sure to ask!

I spoke to you on the other thread, but, welcome to the ECF! I can't really help much with mods, but, here is a video on how to clean your CE4 or similar clearos. How To Clean Your Clearomizer - YouTube

Interesting. My local vape shop says the CE4 is a cartomizer. So what are the differences between the two?

Of course thank you in advance for your reply!

A cartomizer is also a clearomizer, as I just checked some online sites. If it's a clear tank, I just call it a clearo, it helps me keep them straight. To me, a cartomizer is the one with the poly fill with the atty built in. The clearo is a see through tank with the atty coils at the top or the bottom.

Filling the tanks was a pain and when I had the ego-t there was leakage that was pretty much unbearable.

The clearo (tanks) won't leak as bad as the original eGo tanks did, unless you get a faulty one or you drop it and break it. They are more durable and easier to fill. There is no stupid little cap to pop off like the eGo's while filling. You just unscrew the mouthpieces and fill. Much easier than the standard eGo tanks.

First off...welcome to ECF and vaping!

All these things come with their own little quirks, ecigs are still growing and developing, but cartomizers and carto-tanks on an ego are probably the easiest way to get started in my opinion. You may want to try dripping straight onto an atomizer as well.
