new to vaping

Brand new to this way of life. Woke up this morning and my mouth did NOT taste like an ashtray! Checked my cigarettes and discovered I only smoked two cigarettes yesterday! After 44 years of heavy smoking, that's close to a miracle! Got an issue though. I'm so confused about the various nicotine strengths. I initially got a 24 strength and it nearly killed me. Thinking that if I got a 12 and mixed it 50-50 with the strong stuff it might be better. Would that then make it an 18? If it works for me, I won't have to waste the rest of the 30 ml bottle, but when it is done, just get 18. Make sense? Other suggestions?

@Spoon96 welcome!

@Cookie60 Essentially yes, it'll work. However, due to the lack of knowledge on how I'm assuming it's mixed (not diy) the actual results may vary on potency. As there are several factors coming into play with the juice. Ie steep time, composition, shaken per use or not, chemical breakdown from heat exposure, etc.

I'd give it a go and see if you like it. I normally recommend 12 mg to vape and 6-10 ish or less for dripping.

Oh heck yah, it's store bought juice. I've only been into this for 5 big days! There's a lot to learn, especially with all the terminology that isn't familiar. Especially get a kick out of calling cigarettes analogues. That cracks me up! Had fun today watching vape info on you tube and then cleaning my Evod and taking apart the little atomizer cartridge and cleaning it, with the tiny little wick. That was a bit nerve wracking! Everything tastes better again from my efforts though. After so many years of thinking there was no hope to quit smoking, I realized I've only had ONE in the last 30 hours (it tasted awful). Now I can't wait for my next chance to get to a store and buy some different flavours and with a lot less nicotine! Who knew? Think I'll try a few different flavours and Nic strengths and just revel in the no guilt in purchases - after all, I've already saved a lot of money that would have bought a whole lot more cigs in the last few days. Tempted to get another hardware set up too, but I think it would be wise to take that a little slower, until I get the juice/nicotine situation figured out. I love new toys, esp. When it helps my health (hopefully). Do I seem excited? Hahaha

Lol every reason to be excited! There's 3 types of basic vapers. Try it, never vape again. Vape n still smoke (I fit this one), and vape only. Getting the strength and preferred flavors is critical to success. Even tho I still occasionally smoke, I can smell the stench of a cigarette from a mile away lol
What started as a smoking cessation, quickly became a hobby for me. Have to admit, it's a lot of fun!

@ spoon. Don't worry too much about 1 or 2 cigarettes a day, certainly nothing to be ashamed of. The important thing is the cigarettes you DIDN'T smoke. I'm sure as time goes on and you find a setup and flavors you love so much you'll be able to throw your last pack and all them lighters away.
