New to Vaping

Howdy all,
Heres my story. Ive been smoking cigarettes for almost 30 years, one pack a day of Marlboro Reds. Last year I decided to try vapeing, so I went and bought a Blu starter kit at a gas station. After a week of huffing and puffing, trying to get satisfaction, I packed it away.
Sooo, three days ago I went to our one and only Vaper store in our very small, very rural community. With no idea what exactly I wanted,I told the sales guy, I want a decent battery life with plenty of vapor and flavor. He showed me a few set ups and I picked one I liked. Im not sure about all the terminology and sinse it did not come with any packaging, I can only tell you what it says. eGo-C Twist on the battery, CE ROHS on top, sorry for my ignorance. But thats why Im here, to learn all I can. Oh yes, I have smoked 2 cigs sinse Friday!!!

Ps. My battery is 1300 mAh and goes from 3.2 volts to 4.8 volts.

Congrats and welcome! This is the easiest way to stop smoking. You got yourself a nice little starter, variable voltage pen. Beware, vaping becomes an addiction on it's own pretty quickly, an I don't mean in the normal sense. I mean in how can I get a bigger cloud, better flavor, longer battery life, etc. A whole new world awaits you!

Thanks for the welcome.
Fifth day without a cigarette and zero craving. I live on a farm and work from home, so I can go a very long time without seeing or smelling a cig.
Today im going to our local B&M to try some juice, this "Cowboy Red" is acceptable but I need to experiment with some dessert flavors, I have a serious sweet tooth.
Ive already picked up alot of great advice on this forum.
This is a great site, good job admins and modetators for creating a well run and informative knowledge base for newbies.

Welcome back! I started with an Ego and now have moved to mechanical mods. I've only been smoking for 9 years, but I've seen a huge turn around in a matter of 4 months! Vaping helped me crave cigarettes as it gave me the same pull (which I couldn't get with Blu -- I went for the disposable over the kit because IMO it gave more consistent vapor. Anyway -- keep on vaping and fight the urge!!

That's a great starter kit. Good luck, now the fun begins. You get to start finding you flavor profile, there are so many juices available in so many flavors. I found out right away that the tobacco flavors aren't for me. I like the fruit and beverage flavors. I even started DIYing some of my own juice. That way I can flavor it exactly as I want. Or at least think I want.

Day six off cigarettes, no craving, no problems.
This eGo is working great so far for me. If my track record says anything, ill be upgrading very soon.
Every hobby I get involved in, I go waaay overboard.
I started collecting Hotwheels 20 years ago, now I have over 30,000. Began smoking tobacco pipes 10 years ago, now I have over 100 pipes and 200 pounds of tobacco.
Started collecting guns a few years ago, now I have 15 pistols, and 44 long guns.....you get the picture, I have a bit of a hoarding problem.
Once again, this site is awesome, im soaking up info. Its amazing how the administration and moderators keep such a large site so civil. Ive seen much smaller groups erupt in flame wars and arguments, keep up the great work.
