As far as eliquids are concerned, taste is always subjective. I would suggest finding a brick & mortar and going to try some juices to see what you like. Most vape shops will let you try the juice before you buy it. Some reputable sites that I use are Good Life Vapor, Mt Baker, and nicquid. Good life vapor offers sample packs at great prices so you can try some different ones and see what you like...

As far as tanks are concerned, I would always recommend the new Aspire Nautilus mini with the BVC coil. Great vape and simple to use. Congrats on your vaping journey and welcome to ECF!!

For sampling juice I have two recommendations:

1) Sample juice before you buy. Go to a local shop(s) and find flavor(s) you like. Buy small quantities. What you like in the store may taste like dirt after a few tanks.
Once you know what you like then try on-line orders.

2) If you are doing on line or sample packs from a shop. Use a dripper to sample the flavors. This is what I use SMOKtech LR 510 Wide-bridge Atomizer - 1.7 ohm BLACK [gotvapes-smo510atty-1.7ohm-black] - $6.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more .
Put in 3-4 drops of liquid, vapes for 5-10 puffs.
Clean using 5-6 drops of everclear, shake and blow, 5-6 drops of everclear, shake and blow, 3-4 dry burns (5 sec on 5 sec off).
Good to go for next sample.

Welcome to ECF LauraAnn2014!
I guarantee you have joined the best community around. The people here are very friendly and are always willing to help and answer questions.
As far as devices and e-liquid IMHO are user determined. I still use my Kanger ProTank 2s and I don't see myself giving them up anytime soon. I use them as on the go devices and build my own micro coils with cotton wick at the time (soon to be rayon wick). They perform great and I'm happy with them.
I use RBAs at home and I'm always experimenting. Vaping has turned in to more of a hobby for me, although it was the only thing that got me off of analogs.
Stick around and search, ask questions and your answers will be found here.

Good Luck!
