I just need some help. I've been vaping for a few weeks now and when I wake up in the morning my lungs and chest feel tight and sore. Like when I smoke to many ciggs. I have read on here alot that it is from switching from analogs to vaping but I haven't completely stopped smoking yet. The vape shop I bought my stuff from said it was okay to do both that vapor would take over and soon I would want the vapor not the ciggs . Any ideas about my lugs/ chest !?

Welcome! Congrats on wanting to switch-
What kind of set up are you using, hun?
Try taking it slow, maybe even get max VG to start out with. When I first started, I did get tightness in my chest..but that's because I smoked 24mg nic on a mod that was over powering-at the time.

I am using 70% VG 30% PG ATM and it is 3% nicotine. I'm not really coughing it's more of a tightness / soreness when I wake up

High vg can cause a heavy lung feeling for some people. Some have a sensitivity to pg. Some are sensitive to certain flavorings. Some experience this from simple withdrawal symptoms. So it's hard to tell. You may need to try different liquids.

One thing for sure...stay hydrated. If you lungs feel dry and scratchy, it might be just dryness, especially in northern winter climates.

I have a evic VT mini with a kangertech mini tank on it smoking 70% VG
Well, there's your problem right there.
You're supposed to vape the stuff, not smoke it!
:)

I'll second (actually third) the idea that it COULD be too much VG for you.
I have similar problems if I go over 50% VG.

I'll also go ahead and second the comment on drinking lots of water while I'm here.
It would help with sore throats and with tightness in the lungs.

My daughter's boyfriend vapes 0 nicotine. When he was using gas station cigalikes or the Evod setup we finally got for him (50/50 pg/vg on the Evod setup), he could take it or leave it. He was more of a "social vaper". For Christmas, my daughter said that he was fascinated with the clouds he saw patrons at a local vape shop blowing, and suggested that I look into a setup that I could afford that would let him blow clouds. I got him a Subox Mini kit. He is absolutely delighted, even with the eliquids that he has on hand at 50/50. He wound up with a headache and scratchy throat, even at 0 nicotine. My daughter and I both told him to drink more. No more problems. He has gone from being a "social vaper" to a person who is really enjoying his vape. Drink, drink, drink. It will help.

You may need to experiment a bit with your nicotine level and pg/vg ratio before you find the right level for you with the equipment you are using. At this point in time, vaping is very customizable, and you will find what works for you. Keep trying, drink more water or non-caffeine liquids, and play with your vape. Get smaller bottles of eliquid until you find the right combination of nicotine, vg, pg, and flavor for you, with the equipment that you are using.

Cuttwood is one of those odd companies, they don’t list a pg/vg ratio but some of their re sellers do.
They range from 35pg/65vg ~ 30pg/70vg… supposedly.

Just me, I won't buy from anywhere that doesn't allow the customer to choose the pg/vg ratio or at least state the pg/vg ratio in the description & on the bottle.
Some folks have all sorts of reactions to certain flavorings, figuring out if you are one of those people is a process of elimination.

I'd get a small bottle (10ml) of unflavored 50/50 with your normal nic mg/ml and vape that for a day or two to see if that helps.

BTW, if your bottle is labeled cutwood instead of Cuttwood, no telling what you're vaping.
