New to vaping

Hey guys.. Just wanted to drop in and say hi. Been a hard smoker for about 15 or so yrs and finally decided to quit! Took that 1 scare to say enough was enough. So i tried the patches which started to irritate my skin. So i tried 1 of those cheapo disposable ecigs. Was ok n new i was going in the right direction but wanted something wit more variety to it. So i picked up an innokin cool fire ace... Anyone own 1? Any tips? I like this little thing. Been about a month and a half havent touched a cig! [emoji119] The only prob ive been having is finding a flavor i really enjoy. Any way. Thats my lil story. Hope everyone have a great nite

Welcome and congrats on quitting. I mix my own juice which is an RY4. You may want to try some vendors RY4 if a caramel, vanilla, tobacco flavor sounds good. There are many different renditions of RY4 so if you don't like one don't be afraid to try another vendors take on RY4. No two taste alike but they are all similar.

Ive been looking into mixing my own. Seen a few vidz and read a few tut. Seems pretty easy enough... Ive been going mostly to the local smoke shop but they have ver few choices.

I don't have the ace, but do have a cool fire 4 (with the raised nameplate), and I love it. Have had it for a bit over a year, and it's still going strong. I know built in battery mods don't last forever, so looking around to see what I want to replace it with when it does die...
Had a MVP 2.0 before the cool fire, and it was also great, just needed something with a bit more power. I gave it away to a relative that wanted to vape, he still uses it with a protank 3.

Couldn't tell ya anything about the dry herb, if it's 510 threads, I would guess it would work...(also, not really something discussed on this forum).

Allright. As far as fruity flavours i love Naked100. Both "Lava Flow" and "POG" is nice. I also really like Twelve Monkeys and their "Kanzi" and "Mangabeys"

Welcome and glad you joined. I find that if I break down my flavors in general categories, a yearn for a recipe taste will spark a mix interest featuring that flavor.

what is your problem ? to find a better device or better e liquid ?

I think its more of a im really new. Other then the cheap $10 disposable ones this is my 1st mod. My 1st experiences with e liquid. So i think its more of a finding something i really like

starter kit is easier for starter, like ego etc, u can see some youtube to find many useful things, not hurry, just step step, maybe better

I started with a Kanger top box mini and didn't get much flavor with it, I tried the Eleaf Pico which was half the price of the Kanger. The Pico delivered much better flavor, new atomizers are a reasonable price and the menu system makes it easier to use. For the last few months I've been using the Smok G-Priv with the Big Baby TFV8 tank.
I started out at 18 mg and moved down to 3. good luck
