I have been a slacker with finding new juices. Back at it and am totally lost.

Obviously, taste is subjective. I will do my best to describe what I taste, what I like and don't like.

I purchased several tobacco flavors for HHV: Legend, Shadow, Pirate's Booty, Dragon's Fire. To me, they all have very similar base notes: pipe tobacco, cocoa, sweet. It appears that I'm in the minority, as I don't care for them.

Tried Vapenstein Paris by W2V some time ago and it didn't do it for me. Tasted like smokey leather. Perhaps I needed to let it steep more?

I have found that I don't like any cocoa, caramel, coffee, nut, banana, coconut. I don't mind a bit of sweetness.

My favorite to date is Virginia by BWB. To me, it is woodsy, a bit of spice, pleasant smokiness like whiskey, tobacco.

From the digging I've done (Natural Tobacco thread was extremely helpful!!!), I think I'd like to try:

Darkhorse + Huntsman - HHV (one more try)
Backo - BWB
American Blend + 10 Forty - Mom and Pops
K-Max - Vermillion River
Boba's Bounty - AVE
Desperado + House Blend - Ahlusion
Got a sample pack from W2V to include Analog Mild, Morley and Smokey Clove (throw back from college). Wish I could have included the new Pure Smoke.

Do ya think I'm on the right track? Comments, suggestions?

The only one I've tried on that list is Boba's and I think it tastes like Raisin Bran. No judgement on whether that is good or bad, and it is insanely popular so obviously people love it but I do not think it tastes anything like tobacco. It is also uber thick, so depending on your setup and preference that may figure in to your choice as well.

Thx WS! I remember reading that in one of the reviews. Went a little crazy ordering other juice, so perhaps I'll hold off on ordering Boba's

Went back and read more of the Natural Tobacco thread (which is awesome BTW!)...

Got:
Analog Mild, Morley, Red Pirate, CI Cigar, The "Blonde" - W2V
10Forty, American Blend, VA Fire Cured - M&P
K-Max - Vermillion
Patriot, Wrangler Light, Fire Cured - GeJ
Huntsman, Dark Horse - HHV

There have to be at least a couple in there that I like. Need to be patient and learn to let them steep if I don't like them right out of the bottle.

I have to say that the customer service at M&P's is amazing. They, as well as Vermillion and GeJ, have already shipped my order! GeJ within 10 min of placing it!!!

tkirkpsu, you should have posted on the Natural Tobacco thread while you were there. Most of us started out just like you in our quest for better tobacco vapes. Don't worry about being in the minority for liking/disliking any particular juice. Find what you like and don't worry about it. After all, they are your taste buds and your quest for flavor. I'm not crazy about several of the flavors you have tried and also don't care for cocoa, caramel, and most fruits (hate raisins!).

You've obviously been doing your homework and have good choices on your list. It seems to me you are looking for pretty much straight tobacco without a lot of fluff. Try sampler packs from the vendors you find interesting. You might add GoodeJuice to your list as their NET lineup is very authentic and straightforward.

I recommend trying juices that are milder to moderate in tobacco presence first and then move up to the bolder flavors if you want stronger flavor. Come on back to the Natural Tobacco thread, ask questions, and post opinions on what you try.

Hi tkirk. Sorry to hear your problems finding some baccos that you enjoy. I love the HHV line, but it is Huntsman that is my absolute Number 1. I'd recommend giving that one a try. Dark Horse is Huntsman's little brother, so I'd recommend just going with Huntsman (grassy/earthy/hay/cigar notes) and trying it.

HHV and other juices do need steeping - two days caps off, after a shake. Then shake daily or whenever you think about it, for a week. The bigger the bottle the longer the steep. Don't give up on those that didnt do it for you - put them in a drawer and try them after a month or more before throwing or giving them away.

Now of course you CAN try them straightaway too - but if they don't do it for you, then do the steep. Sometimes I put a juice in a clearo take a few pulls to warm the juice up then leave the clearo for a day and come back to it as that can hasten the process as its a small amount (2 mm).

W2V = excellent too. Atty killers but Morley is a stand out!

Can't speak for the others but they are highly rated. I would also recommend House of Liquid's Puros Naturelle. HoL is in the UK and free shipping over 25 EUROS (not pounds) For 25 euros you get a 60 ml bottle. No caramel/cocoa/coffee in any of the above).

I'm still smoking a couple a day and Huntsman has a slight vanilla sweet flavor for a moment or two after I've had a stinkie, but only in comparison to that lit cigarette. I DO have to use 100% VG because PG makes me hack and gives me a raw throat) so it could be something to do with VG too.

Haven't tried the M&P flavors you mentioned, but their customer service is absolutely fabulous. They are wonderful people there.

Hope you find exactly what you're looking for soon!
