I don't know why it looks different from other vendor's e-liquids, Tezcatlipoca. I am always happy to be completely transparent and have shared what it is made from and how it is made. Beyond that, I don't know what to say except to encourage you to give it a try and tell me what you think of the taste!

Hi Swer, no, TA has only trace amounts, if any, of WTA from what I understand. I don't know why, but I definitely find some special satisfaction when I vape it though, as if it has something magical that relaxes me the way smoking used to when I was stressed. My friends who were my early taste testers say the same thing. It doesn't seem to be from WTA though, maybe just the taste being linked to old memories. :)

Sounds great Annette. I am still steeping mine would you believe, in an attempt to get the best experience possible when I try it! I will let you know as soon as, on the last of my PPA as we speak.

Would this tobacco liquid then contain WTA alkaloids? I don't know enough about the process to guess so that may be a silly question.

I've spoken with someone who tested Perfumers Apprentice TA and through a GCMS test it showed no tobacco alkaloids. The only alkaloid, and in negligible amount, was nicotine.

That "relaxing" feeling could be coming from linalool which can be found in some tobaccos.

I'd try that juice once it gets perfected. If I got it like that, sorry to say, I'd want my money back.

If any one wants their money back or a replacement, I am happy to send it. The droplets are due to my error in not accounting for temperature change and I am, of course, willing to take responsibility for that. They don't make the e-liquid unusable, but they are unattractive--fugly!

Thank you for the links on Linalool--finally, an explanation for my experience! And it even seems to have some potent health benefits to boot!

That is awesome of you to honor your customers!!!!! I am not 100% certain about linalool being in TA, but it stands to reason since it is also part of perfumer's arsenals. It is a fact that it is in some tobaccos, and since TA is super concentrated, it probably is in there.

p.s. The etymology of perfume is interesting.. vewy, vewy, interesting...

per·fume (pûrfym, pr-fym)

[French parfum, from Old Italian parfumo, from parfumare, to fill with smoke : par-, intensive pref. (from Latin per-, per-) + fumare, to smoke (from Latin fmre, from fmus, smoke).]

That is a nice offer Annette, but I'm definitely keeping mine. I have been shaking it up, and while I suspect that some flavoring is 'lost' it is not a concern to me. I've only vaped about 2ml's so far (can't put down my Kona Koffee Milkshake), but am still pleased with it. It very much reminds me of tobacco. In cold Minnesota winters outdoors, I REALLY crave the tobacco taste. It's totally my hardest time to resist analogs. I'm saving this liquid for outdoor sub-zero vaping while snowblowing this winter (hopefully) :)

I did notice that it seems harder than normal to clean an atty of this taste. The Vivi Nova atomizer I used in my photos still had a taste of the liquid even after a few minutes of cleaning under hot water. Looks like I have a dedicated atomizer for this liquid.

So, is this liquid WTA? Don't exactly know what I'm asking, but I have seen talk regarding WTA liquids and their tobacco like qualities.

NO, it is not WTA. WTA is a completely different ball game.

When I think of winter smoking in MN all I can think of is freezing my .... off outside... all the more reason to love vaping! :D

Oh, okay. I just saw your post. I will have to defer to my friend Scarf-ace on the extraction because all I learned about it was that I should leave it to the professionals, or with someone that has more of a knack for experimentation. ;) It wasn't bad, it just lacked oomph! I used a PG/VG when I should've, or rather, I would have been better served by just using PG. The tobacco leaves actually do a lot better of being extracted in a straight PG than a PG/VG. Once again, I used a cheesecloth a few times for the filtering and I let the leaves steep for over a week.

p.s. Lately I have done a ton of research, well not a ton, but a lot of research into Tobacco Absolute cause I am actually starting to dig it after being adamantly opposed to it.

Annette, my homemade NET recipe can be found here.

This is purely for my own amusement and is not meant as a guideline for any sort of commercial manufacture, but I have shared the resulting product with several members of the Natural Tobaccos thread and the feedback has been positive.

I am currently extracting some pipe tobacco using the same method.

Hi Annette,

I broke into the Thrilla Vanilla sample. It's quite tasty! I can tell that tobacco lovers are going to go gaga over your tobacco flavors! I did see the weird cloudiness and floaty bits but they didn't bother me after reading this thread.

Thank you!

 WOW! You think it's that good? That's literally incredible. Do you vape tobacco much?

I'm so happy you're enjoying the flavor, Standpoint! I definitely recommend keeping a separate atty or carto for the tobacco flavors as they're quite strong and stick around. I sometimes vape a bit and then add other flavors to the same carto to mix them with a hint of tobacco taste--quite yummy!

Thank you for the recipe, scarf-ace! I may have to try that some day just for fun. Have you ever used that recipe with 100% VG or does it only work with a PG/VG mix? BTW, I love your Simpson's quote, LOL--one of my favorites! :)

I have only ever tried it with a mix. My first attempt involved about an ounce each of PG and VG for a Churchill-sized cigar. Once diluted, this yielded about 100mls of eliquid.

Anyone who's been around VV for a while is acquainted with my aversion to tobacco flavors. My reaction when I got my samplers was a little like Stand's and kind of got the side eye from me, the queen of tobacco haters.

I was consoled by Annette's explanations. So, boss's orders, I just filled up a Boge LR with Thrilla in Vanilla (love the name) and put it on my Twist.

I like it. Not as in all day, but I will be vaping up my samplers!
Do not be put off by the appearance. Shake shake shake and fill.

I am shocked. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for "something that tastes like a real cigarette". It is very robust, earthy/herby/tiny bit spicy with a lot of depth, good throat hit at 12 mg and loads of vapor with a pleasant aroma. And I can see how it will be very compatible as a blend with some other VV flavors. Jeez, I'm on a roll here. :)

Just to reiterate my thoughts on the Tobacco. From me, Queen Kitty of Tobacco haters, nay, LOATHERS, who has tried many tobaccos and gave them ALL away to another ECFer. Incredibly, I'm not giving these away!

Annette's offer stands. Don't like it? Don't like the fugly appearance? Email us at customers@virginvapor.com and we will gladly give you a refund.

I have tried multiple tobacco flavors from another vendor locally & Virgin Vapor's Best Damn Tobacco is by far the BEST that I have tasted!
Having never tried Virgin Vapors juices before I ordered 6 different sample flavors & received them yesterday. I was actually trying to get away from tobacco flavors having not smoked in nearly 10 months now. This one's gonna blow that for me for sure!
