How long did it take you to get over it?

Me personally? I haven't yet...
I don't understand the question. Like breathing air, it is not something that one gets over.

The best I've achieved is staying under the bankruptcy threshold. I do this by visualizing being thrown out into the snow by my wife upon viewing our bank statement.

I got over it 6 months ago, and am now trying to get the right equipment and flavors to settle into.

The first 6 months spent on figuring out how not to run out of stuff to maintain vaping satisfaction.

The last 6 months spent figuring out the right equipment going forward.

I've come up with; must have a few HV mods in case one fails so to have backups. Preferably common battery systems. Then a few staple juices, then try samples from time to time to see if I can add to the staples or replace as necessary.

This coming from a nic addict's point of view. I want uninterrupted vaping to keep from uninterrupted analogs.

Most people will settle into what works after they get over the initial "New Toy" syndrome. I have done that with every new thing I have ever tried. If you only knew how many fishing poles, guns & baseball cards I have!

I guess it depends on what other things in life keep you busy, how much money you have, and where they are at on the priority list.

I would have to say, I was forced to get over the "new toy syndrome" not by getting over it, since once I get my debit card back, and once I don't have to deal with going to my dorm's package pick up to get my goods, I'll relapse, terribly.

No artistic license needed! Surely the day you're bankrupt, it WILL snow in South Florida. It will be a very, very, tough day for you. Lesson here: don't go bankrupt!
