Hi I am still new to the boards.. I was running a protank on a twist 1000 for the past month or so but decided to get something different. Today I bought a artemis locking dct from smokin vapor for 16$... the bolt mod, an efest 18250 2000mah, trust fire charger and 10 ml jvapes bomb com eliquid for 85$ at cool vapors. Both shops are in panama city.
As soon as I got to my car I put it all together, the locking dct was easy to prime and setup I slapped it on the bolt and it was slow at first, after 3 pulls it was knocking my head off. the artemis dct came with a 1.5 ohm carto so it worked fine with the bolt running at stock 3.7.
After some time the artemis became weaker so i changed to a protank with redoak rainier in it and I think come stock at about 2.5 ohm. It works way better than the artemis so i tried jvapes no worries (50/50) in another protank to see if it was the red oaks 100% VG juice that was producing the vapor clouds and the results are consistent.
So I've ran the protank on the bolt for most of the day and its been great. I love the control I get out of the twist but this is just nice and simple.
I reprimed the Artemis and its doing well again, seated on a twist running 4.0v and its actually better now. I need to use it more to see if it will stay consistent but I'm loving this bolt and protank combo.
