Hey, I've been vaping for about 3 weeks now and I've noticed some problems. My performance with the protank seems to be very inconsistent on my ego twist clone. Sometimes I get lots of vapor and great taste while other times it seems like the output voltage is low or I'll get very little vapor. Also, there is an occasional loud popping noise that occurs and normally corresponds with a bad vape. Not sure if this is some kind of short with the protank or if my battery not well regulated battery issue.

I'm using the stock 2.2 ohm head with the protank normally running between 3.6 to 4.2 V. I don't have a multimeter so I can't measure the true resistance. I also have a couple of evods clones that work great, but not as good as the protank when it is at its best. Please help.

Probably with noting that I occasionally chain vape, but that seems to not play a role. Sometimes it will get better while I chain vape, sometimes worse.

Ok when you vape are you always inside or outside or both?
My ProTank and the ProTank 2 don't like hot weather. You could be inside getting some nice vapor and step outside and within a minute my tanks start gurgling and popping. The popping noise is com ing from the hot liquid shooting up through the airpipe. My theory

Wow, your vape is all over the map
Hot/cool
Dry/Flooded

Possibly some issues with time set aside - leaching liquid into wick
Chain Vaping - Drying wick, or if drawing hard - flooding wick

Popping is Hot coil with minimal Wet. e-liquid literally pops off the coil
Lost Vapor, no burnt taste is normally Flooded wick - boost power or take a few LONG slow draws to clear excess

You will need to settle into a more consistent vaping pattern to see which issues stay and which fall away. Then you can address the remaining issues.:)
