Hoog, this is a re-post from your ticket system as I think I put it in the wrong category......

Let me first say - those 5v build your own box mod kits ROCK! I've built all 4 (first time builder) and all work perfectly! Nice job for creating and selling them. Now, onto the charger issue....

I ordered the 10229 TrustFire TR-001 Lithium Ion Battery Charger and plugged it in to charge my batts for the first time and it seems only one side is charging (one side red - the other green when both batts are low). Is there anything tricky I need to know about these chargers - maybe a quick fix?

Thanks for your time,

Eric

My tr-001 just started doing this with two batteries installed. One side will go green and the other red. I can make the green/red switch around by the order I put the batts in. I have doubts about my charger now. It seems to be working fine for a single, not doubles anymore. Not sure what happened, but it sounds to be a load sharing issue with the charger and something has broken because mine worked up to about two days ago fine.

This happens to me as well. Got my charger from MadVapes, but I'm not sure it's the charger, because it happens mostly with 2 batteries specifically.

Usually when I have seen this on chargers its because the battery itself has an issue. Is it possible that you overcharged or overcurrented the battery? Try to swap positions and see if the lights change as they did for Jolly roger. If so, then it is probably just that battery. If not, then you may be getting a weak contact on that side of the charger.

Does that same battery light up the charger correctly when put in alone on the side that works, and does the second side work correctly when a battery is only on that side?
