Hi all,
I just got my starter kit yesterday, yeah!! Today I went to use the second battery and tank. I put the new tank on a new battery and the button light came on just for second and then nothing. I thought it was the battery so I put it in the charger. It said the battery was charged. I called Halo, talked to them for a bit, they said to return the battery, okay I thought, no problem I'll return the battery and get a new one. Well, I took the new tank and put it on the other battery, the same thing happened to it. The battery just up and quit. I started to think oh #$%# do I have a bad kit.

After a bit of thinking, I decided to replace the coil. It was the only thing I could do myself before I would have to return the whole kit. I purchased extra ones to be on the safe side (thank goodness I did). I replaced the coil, put the battery back on the charger for a few seconds to basically reset it, and everything started to work properly, like it was supposed to!

My question is, has anyone else had a coil that made their batteries quit on them?

Thanks for the help. :vapor:

It is possible that the coil had a short in it, it is also possible the first coil was not tightened down enough to make proper contact. You always ALWAYS need to make sure each time you put the tip back on the tank to first hand tighten the coil down. It will sometimes come just loose enough to do exactly what you say was happening.

I did make sure the coil was tight, that was the first thing I did when I put the e-juice in. So I don't think it was that. It was probably just a bad coil. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem with coils making a battery quit.
