What do you guys think about these trustfire imr batteries. They are definitely cheaper than the AW batteries but how do they perform?

Its more of how long will they last. AW has a life of 500 charge cycles.
So you can run them all the way down and recharge 500 times.
Trustfire may have 300, I haven't verified trustfires specs, but I did
read the AW specs. Since I am new I can't verify real world experience.
But other here can.
Pay me now or pay me later, if u can go with AW.
AW makes a 2000mah 18650 as well

If they are anything like the Trustfire protected batteries, a big NO. I wouldn't trust any battery with "-fire" in the name.

This brand has historically been a second rate battery. I might trust one in a flashlight, but not in my APV.
All I can say is
I tried to find information on the amp and life spam but couldnt find it anymore. These batteries are pretty new so I think it will be hard to find.

One of the big dawgs verified what I typed so if you can go with AW in the long run u will be better off.
Its kinda like buying a good pair of shoes instead of the cheapies.
Cheapies shoes when they are done they are done. Good shoes you can re-sole them a few times over with the proper care

Your battery specs say they are Li-ion batteries. That doesn't sound like an IMR, which is called Li-Mn (lithium-manganese). That coupled with no charging or discharging specs makes me highly suspicious.

As others have said, I wouldn't trust anything with the word "fire" in the name. Historically they have proven themselves to be junk.

There are no good, cheap batteries. There is a reason for that :)

A battery that gives no technical specs (the C rating is the first thing you want to know about a battery), and describes a Li-ion cell as 'IMR', and has *fire in the name, and is probably cheap, is a fail on multiple counts.

There are no good, cheap batteries. If someone is selling cheap batteries then they can't be good quality. If someone is selling cheap AW batteries then they aren't AW (all AW batts on Alibaba are fakes).

It's a lithium cell, which means intrinsically it cannot be safe due to the super high energy density and instability - and it's going right in front of your face - and you're going to stress it hard, really hard - and there have been multiple cases of violent battery failures - and some of the people it happened to ended up in hospital.

Do you really want the cheapest battery you can get?? I'd buy the most expensive I could find and go without food, if a choice had to be made...

where( or more relevant, when) do you live? I haven't seen anybody re-soling shoes for a long, long time. like a real butcher I think they have slowly faded away. we have become a replace not repair society which is a shame.....

If you are unsure at all about what battery to buy, or about a particular battery; Drop everything youre thinking, and buy AW IMR batteries. Before using any other battery you need to know the consequences. Have you ever seen an exploding laptop or cell phone? Those are ICR batteries.

The IMR batteries you want are all red, even the efest are ok, but the AW are the way to go and worth the extra buck

Re so-soling shoes is common where I work. Half of us have it done. 500 dollar shoes are hard to replace at times and much cheaper. It is part of the job.

Bah quoting messed up..grrrrr.
