While browsing around today (not even sure where now!), I saw the youtube video that Benjamin put up showing how to refill carts with the "condom." I just tried it and it is the best thing since sliced bread. I have about 5 bottles of juice that I have not been using (and therefore spending way to much money on new carts), because it was always such a messy pain in neck. Thank you so much! Brilliant! Just absolutely freaking BRILLIANT!!!

I just recently saw that too! And yes, it is soooooo much easier!! It's actually one of the reasons I went ahead and got some of the turbo carts!!

One strange thing though. I was filling a few last night (brand new blanks) and one of them immediately had liquid coming out of the battery side. I couldn't get it to fill properly so I set it to the side to mess with later.

Overall though, so far I love these carto's!! I forgot how nice it is to be able to switch flavors so easily and not have to refill or drip constantly!!

Are the caps glued on? If so, you non-destructively remove them. There is a thread on this, but out of respect for Ben (since it's in another manufacturer's subform) I'll just give you the gist. Boil some water, and using tongs or something, dip the mouthpiece end in the boiling water for 45 seconds. When done right (not left for too long), the end caps are reusable just like normal and all is good!

I rinse em a few times then i just let it run hot for a minute to loosen it up then it comes off Usually leaves a few slivers of plastic looks like fragments that surface after you have your wisdom teeth pulled lol I just scrape em off with my pry tool and replace with a softcap rubber whatever new type

I vape 80% of the time with my kr passthru I take my laptop to work with me and vape in the break room lol they get a laugh out of the clouds. I have managed to burn a couple but that was from negligence constant sucking after a few too many drinks. The OG carts I would burn 2 a day with the passthru. Definitely improved design. Someone was saying they dont work so well on the passthru, but they do, they woek awesome. And as for the 1.4 ml 36 drops capacity.. Idk about that The ones I got hold maybe 20
Wanted to ask about heat problems with
these cartos, I have recently switched to cartos and have been having some heat problems with refilled cartos. Thats mainly the reason why I don't remove the paper it acts as a heat shield but even so it still heats up pretty hot that I can feel it on my lips. I'm using cartos from other suppliers(don't wanna name them here because these is a suppliers thread) and I use them either on the V2 or V1 resistored prodigies and they heat up after a 3 sec drag. On a regular 3.7v I tried a 7 sec drag and no heat problems.

I know that the problem is most likely because of the higher voltage:-x:-x, but I wanted to ask others who have used this product with a 5v mod, if these new cartos have the same result (or is it just me):(:(. Other than having higher liquid capacity are there any other advantages to using these instead of your garden variety cartos:confused::confused:. And also I wanted to ask these new cartos do they have the same resistance as the regular ones mine reads at 3.6 - 3.8 ohms.

Oh and a reminder for anyone using these turbo cartos on an adapter (like the 510 battery to 901/808 adapter)...remember that the slot in the adapter IS a screw slot and you can adjust your airflow/ease of draw by screwing or unscrewing the adapter from the 901/808 side.. so turning it counter clockwise will loosen up your draw, and increase airflow and vapor production...
Expecially on something like an eGo with the cone in place...take the adapter off unscrew it a couple of turns and then try it again...

First off . . . thanks for the tip about the adapter adjuster. I would never have known.

Secondly . . . LOVE MY TURBOS. I received a couple as a gift and then I won a vapornine competition and ordered more. My 808 is ok but the passthru was a no go. I only tasted hot vapor no matter what flavor I put in it. The turbo has changed all that! I am vaping my favorite flavors again and loving it. I have the ones with the removable cap. I know this because the top falls off with the suction during the condom fill. It isn't a problem . . just an observation.

I am so happy that I discovered these. I was ready to throw/give away my 808 pt.

Thanks for a great product.

I haven't ordered any of these new cartos yet but will this week. My favorite cartomizer replacement tip is a soft rubber 801 tip slipped over the carto. No cutting like the 901 tip, just shove it on, stays cool, stays put, and easy to pull off to top up without doing a full refill when I'm running out the door.

I use a small leather hole punch on the condom and use that as a tip (on tight for a hard tip and pulled out/loose for a soft tip). It keeps the outer cart cooler and even recycles some of the juice that vapors out. Just my :2c: hope it helps.

I've found that my new blank racing stripe carts don't screw on to my newest passthrough I got from V9. Anyone else have thread issues?

It sounds like you're talking about problems with several but I thought I'd just mention that I had a problem with one of the racing stripe cartos not screwing on an adapter...I just kept messing with it, and it eventually decided to cooperate.

I think that maybe the threads weren't clear - maybe some tiny shavings in there somewhere?
