New TV customer question

Sorry if this is a noob question, but I just received mint chocolate chip, 12mg 20% vg mix and it's really harsh. I used to be able to smoke reds, even palmalls and it didn't hit me like this, I like a TH like anyone and my question is this, is it because the flavor needs to steep? It taste good but when I try to inhale it makes me cough. Should I have gotten 30% VG? Is it possible I got a bad mix? I'm by no means not gonna order anything else cause tasty finger sounds awesome and I totally stalked this forum reading reviews, read ace pilots blog on it and heard nothing but good things. Other than my TV MCC I've got nothing but V4L juices ATM and those don't have enough TH. Thanks in advance

Yeah I would let it sit for a day or so tends to smooth out. What flavor is hitting so hard the mint? You got a low nic value, I don't know if that's the norm for you or not. The nic is what gives the throat hit usually. Some flavors are harsh straight out of the box and a week usually allows the mix to blend. The vg level is going to give more or less vape. It's hard to say not knowing if that's the normal amount of nic you vape.
Let it sit a couple days and then if need be you could add a drop or two of vg.

The Mint in the MCCC is what gives it the super-duper throat hit. Some flavors have more than others. If you are new to vaping, I would say shake the bottle really well and try again. Also, once you vape for awhile, the throat hit will not seem so harsh. I have had some really HARSH juice from another vendor and I can say that nothing I have ever gotten from Tasty Vapor (Including the MCCC) is harsh, just good throat hit. I honestly believe you will enjoy it more and more the longer you vape. That harshness will start to go away after awhile and be just right! Just my opinion though. Hope this helps a little. P.S. I have been vaping since Feb and I am now vaping at 6V! It is wonderful with all of Tasty Vapor's juices! If you are looking for something a little smoother but wonderfully delicious, try the Boston Creme Pie or Banana Nut Bread. Both of these are awesome, and at 12MG I doubt you will get to harsh a throat hit from them.

It might be the mint, it's just like a scratchy feeling I get, and it's about the same level of nic I vape from v4l, I need it low cause I chain vape it taste way to good not too.

Awe, I'm glad my blog helped you to choose TV, and I still swear by tastyfinger!
I haven't tried MCC yet, But I have to agree with the others about it being the mint.
One thing that has helped me get used to flavors that I at first find to be harsh it taking small puffs, and leading up to my large normal ones.
But if for some reason you just can't get used to the mint and the throat hit it causes, You should for sure try out Boston Cream Pie!! (My other favorite)
Also, again if you decide MCC isn't something you will finish, you will have no problem swapping it on the TV Swap Thread

Its all about trial and error You just have to figure out what works best for you!

Yea, I'm just gonna let it steep for a bit, it does taste good though, not much vapor though, getting tasty finger with 35% vg as we speak (er type) so hopefully I get as much as the other company I order from, I just dig that you can customize here and the hand make it to order. You also may want to make sure your atomizer is clean. My first vape of TV pina colada was extremely harsh. It wasn't just a throat hit, it was a throat burn. I opened up a new atty and used it, and I was in vaping heaven. After a good soak in Crest Pro Health mouthwash, rinsing, and drying out, my old atty is also heaven on a PV using TV juices.

I'm using a kr808 from v4l, so it was a fresh cart. On another note I bought 2 kits a 510 from ecigs Inc and 808 from v4l. I was going to send the 510 back, but everyone here likes them and TV sells attys and carts for cheap! Think I'm gonna keep the 510 for at home to save money on cartomizers. Seems like the more cost effective thing to do. Hey CV, what are you using to vape at 6v? (I know I know n00b question)

Waiting for tasty finger to get here to try my 510 on that eGo kit he's got has my curiosity as well, anyone using one? Do you get more vapor out of it or is it just increased battery life? Funny I'm spending more time here than the paintball forums I usually partake in!

Ohhhh man... Tastyfinger is goooood good stuff. Just increased battery life, shouldn't get any more vapor than on a regular 510. Unless atomizer quality plays into it somehow.

The best thing about ego is you can use LR attys with them! And the battery life well worth the 49.00.being that I spent 79.00 on my tornado/ego!

I've ordered the attys from TV and they work exactly as described on his website. They are adequate and cheap, but not great.

I think the higher resistance on his attys reduces the amount of vapor you get unless you are using higher voltage battery.

One small correction! The battery can't be charged on the normal 510 charger it has a different battery connection and it wont fit a pcc!
