Hey guys, so i hardly know anyone that smokes e-cigs, and have googled all over the place haha but there is just so much out there and so much information it can get a little tiresome.. So im looking for some advice.

Been smoking my e-cig for about a year now so you would think that i would atleast have a favourite juice/set up but im just completley clueless..

I was on the one of the totally wicked titan batteries (as this is the one of the only shops in York) and a MT3 tank, So had my battery to long now decided to get a new one (just bought a EVOD on ebay cant really complain) its not the battery im struggling with its everything else..

So i went into the shop and basically asked the guy what he thought was the best tank he recommended V4 BDC tank (totally wicked) which i have been using but im not really noticing any differences though he said it was much better? Question one what is a good tank bare in mind i quite like the dainty look not into the huge batteries and tanks you can get

Secondly, E liquids?! They are so damn confusing?! Ive tried vapology, big juice, dekang, hangsen, victory vape amongst others and the only one out the many i have now trialled is the Mixed berry by totally wicked patriot range
which is nice, but im getting pretty bored. (plus its 6.99)

Im just starting to loose my patience, everything i try is just okay its not great.. Im into berries and sweet things.. And i also dont want to be spending lots of money like i currently am .. So is it my tanks my taste? Arghh help!

Try out an EVOD or an EVOD 2 clearomizer, or maybe even both since they're so cheap. I can't really say I have any issues with my evod, aside from when I'm refilling the tank, it tends to release any remaining juice out the airflow tube. The difference is the EVOD 2 has a removable drip tip.

The quality of your tank definitely impacts the flavour you get, as does the age of your coil and the amount of airflow provided to it. If you're a flavour junkie I'd recommend an Aerotank or a Nautilus, both are fairly expensive compared to other things. You may want to try Mt Baker Vapor despite the fact that it's an American company. They have hundreds of flavours, all of which are fairly cheap. Eventually you may graduate from them and look elsewhere. Happy hunting.

Notes: The Nautilus is pretty big, holds 5 mls of liquid and is made of glass. The Aerotank is probably a better choice for you.
If you wanted a different battery, and maybe wanted to get into controlling the amount of voltage your coil gets, you may want to try out a Vision Spinner 2.

....where to begin......

Ok.. first, I'd recommend looking into variable voltage batteries. That doesn't mean changing the size of the battery. There are some Evod/Ego batteries that yo can alter the voltage sent to the clearomizer. Just to recommend a cheap one, here's a pink evod 1600MaH battery that is you can vary the volts. Try your juice at a slightly higher voltage and see if that does it for you.

Second, it could be the ohm rating of your atomizers. Keep in mind, some juices taste different at different voltages. Try getting a lower or higher resistance coil. if your V4 BDC coil can be replaced, see what the ohm rating is or ask... perhaps they sell different resistance coils.

And for juices, there's so much to talk about on this subject. many juices need to be steeped/aired before they taste good. Sometimes the process can take a long time. When I first get a juice, I shake it up, leave the top and nipple off the bottle for a day to air it, then I taste it. If it tastes ok, I start using it, but sometimes it needs to air out some more. Sometimes I need to just let it sit for a while until it ages properly.

as far as the flavor, I like fruity flavors as well. I have settled on one main flavor, but I mix things up a bit. my main flavor is Guava, and most of the time, that's what I'll have in my tank. I do, however, have about 5 different flavor additives that I might mix with my guava. For example, I have lemodade flavoring, and I'll add a drop or two of lemonade to give my juice a totally different taste. I also have strawberry, blueberry, bananna, etc. Try mixing flavors you might think work well together. I used to just buy five or six different flavors and mix them as I see fit. One flavor will bore you, but if your juice is ever changing, you'll not get bored with it.

Here's some ideas.

Guava Ejuice This is my main. To save on price, I buy the 256ml and refill my old bottles that I clean out.
Lemonade Flavoring This flavoring is strong. only a few drops are needed to totally change the eliquid's taste
Banana Flavoring This adds some nice sweetness. a few drops will totally take over the taste. too many drops and it starts to taste bad.
Blueberry Flavoring Not as strong as the banana, but definately good. I like to add this+banana+blueberry to make a real mixed fruit taste.
Hangsen Red Bull Oddly enough, this one mixes well with fruit. I haven't tried it with banana yet..... I'll be vaping that mix in 10 minutes now that I'm thinking of it.

:) The best suggestion is just to have fun and experiment. If you were a former smoker, your taste buds were deadened. now that you're on to E-cigs, your taste buds have come back to life, and they refuse to be stuck in the same flavor every day anymore. :) I don't know of one vaper who vapes only one flavor all the time.

Hi Sarah, I sure hope you read this.

Why not free yourself from the clutches of the red devil and go searching the HUGE selection of other (better) kit and liquid out there in e-cig land.

The V4 BDC is basically a rebranded/updated GS-H2 clearomiser. They are very cheap and quite nasty. I am ordering a few from China (as it happens) for less than £1 each. You can buy them here in the UK for £7 for FIVE.

So - the question? Are you being taken for a ride? I pay £2.40 for 10ml of liquid?

Tempted to know more? I do hope so. :)

Ask on AAEC UK.

OR - York is actually the home of a vaping legend. He is known as "Matt Gluggles". He used to run Gluggles off-license and e-cig shop. He (I understand) is turning into an e-cigwizard shop.
Find him, tell him I sent you. He'll see you right and it'll cost you way, way less.

Hi Pixilocks,
for liquids, I have great success with LTecigs up there in Yorkshire, reasonably priced and very efficient.
Try CoolKing, mix of liquorice/menthol, GoldDucat, and my all-time favourite The Moors, also
liked by djsvapour if I'm not mistaken, it's the only liquid that I get flavour/throat-hit/
vapour and aroma on the exhale - I chase my clouds around like the Bisto advert !
Good luck !

Do yourself a favour and grab one of the new aerotanks. They are the best clearo-style tanks you can get by a long shot. Coming from the device your using now, you will be blown away. This is the cheapest UK vendor for this I know of for the aerotank mini, which from your original post will be just what you're after: Kanger Aerotank Mini <<< great guy at myepack named Ash, he will sort you out, I use these guys all the time for clearos, coils and batteries

For liquids, here are just a few of the best UK eliquid vendors there are:
Home - plumeblu - electronic cigarettes and liquids
Manabush - Rich Sweet Tobacco Flavour Based E-Liquid for Vaping - Manabush Tobacco and Maple flavoured Eliquids with sweet toppings <<< best tobacco liquids, many followers aren't tobacco flavour fans!
Digbys Juices
Mrs Lord & Co,
SteamGunk E-Liquids
E-liquid shop supplying UK manufactured e-liquid, juice and vape products for your e-cigarette
https://8bitvape.co.uk/ <<< custom flavours
Premium E-Liquid
Tmax Juices
Vaping King
The Alchemists Cupboard Home Page, E-Liquids made in the UK
Welcome

You get what you pay for, so they might be slightly higher in price then what you currently vape, but I promise you will not regret it, many of these guys offer samplers as well. If you want a sample of tmax snake oil, email simon via the contact details on his site, he will send you 10ml for free, all he will ask is you pay around £1.00 for the postage! If your enjoying totally wicked, dekang and hangsen, you will love all the above, i found those three liquids completely rank, like mass produced chemical crap lol
