Hi there,

I discovered e-cigs 12 days ago since which time I have been vaping, sometimes with delight and at other times with great frustation...

My friend first gave me his small greensmoke battery and I loved it so much I bought my own kit....My kit was delivered with tiny holes in the thread ( I used three cartridges in 1 day, I knew something was wrong) which I hated compared with my friends small battery that had no tiny holes. So I swapped it.

Now I find even with new cartridges the first 30 - 40 puffs give me a good hit then they just go weak, which is frustating as I know the flavour is dying and I am not getting the "hit at the back of the throat" even with 16mg cartridges. It just then appears as if I am sucking on a slightly stronger air.

I am really frustated to the point I may stop vaping but just don't want to as I love the no smell, no tar and feel different not having smoked..

Can you experienced vapours please help me answer these questions:

- why after 30 - 40puffs on a 16mg cartridge do I feel like there is alot of air?
- compared to other ecigs how good is the greensmoke ecig?
- am doing something wrong?
- why when I first blow down the cartridge then hear bubbling noise thereafter inhale do I get a decent hit?

please help me avoid going back to smoking, I really dont want to go back down that road

Thanks for your help in advance...

Cheers

Greensmoke does not have a good rep. A few pointers. Always use manual batteries (small button) because they give the user ultimate control, better throat hit and much more reliable. The larger the battery, the more your PV (personal vaporizer) will provide the "inhaled feel" of the real thing. Use blank carts, buy e-liquid and refill your carts. Much better taste and much lower cost and much bigger assortment of flavors. Start out with a higher nicotine level to make the transition easier. The most common level used is 24mg nicotine strength. A good starter PV is the eGo or Riva 510 or the VGO 801. Get an extra atomizer. Here are some reputable suppliers to check out:

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo

Electronic Cigarette Kits, Eliquid by Awesome Vapor

Rule of Thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance.

1. Rebrander Lie - "A carto last as long as a pack of cigarettes" - that is just a lie they use to sell their stuff

2. Greensmoke is a decent model and the near twin but incompatible with the most popular 2-piece, KR808D-1 (Greensmoke is KR808D-2). The D-2 is mostly favored by rebranders ie. "name" brands, usually rip-off rebranders who charge too much for parts or cartos, don't offer blank cartos, might use hard to glued-on caps on their cartos to discourage refilling.

If you like prefilled cartos I recommend get KR808D-1 aka Vapor4Life, and I recommend manual batteries which are more sealed against leaks and not dependent on a drag sensor in the threaded end of the battery.

Re cartos - you need to add ejuice. If you are buying cartomizers that you can't easily add ejuice to then you are wasting money. You want soft-cap cartomizers (the KR808D-1 ones sold by Vapor4Life are all soft-cap and you can buy soft-cap blanks for KR808D-1). With cartos you should add juice whenever the vapor gets light or seems a bit dry and if you can't fix it by tilting the ecig carto-end down for 5 seconds. You remove the carto from the battery, pop the soft-cap and add some ejuice to the stuffing - 5-8 drops or what ever it will take. Then you make sure it is not leaking out the threaded end, wipe and dry it well if it was, and I puff lightly into the threaded end to try to make sure the air channel is clear. But you can still get an occasional drop of juice leaking out the threaded end so it is better to have manual batteries.

Running a carto dry can singe the stuffing and permanently ruin the flavor. If you keep a carto damp you can get days out of one carto before it starts to get weaker.
