New use for old carto?

I recently saw a You Tube about how to make a "juice taster" by removing the filler from an old Smokeless Image cartomizer and dripping on the coil. I'd like to try it but am wondering if its a safe thing to do. Also, he used a drip tip instead of replacing the rubber end cap. Will any drip tip fit? Thanks for any info.

most drip tips fit... 510, 808 and 901 will all fit

It is not a good idea to use a dripper system on an auto battery...dripping should be done on manuals only...otherwise aside from possibly ruining the carto it is safe.

Thanks for the fast response, Imagine. The guy did say to only use a manual battery. I guess I might give it a try.
