Just dropped in to say hi :)

My wife and i decided to quit smoking for the new year, and it wasn't going all that well. she was using the gum, and I was on the patch. and I was going crazy at work, eating candy all day :)

I heard an ad on the radio about e-cigs and decided to do some research on what device was the best to start with and got 3 510 starter kits. one for my wife, sister in law and me.

we are not TOTALLY off analogs at the moment, but I vape mostly (except when drinking) and at work, i havent ever felt the need to smoke. Just fill a cart before i leave the house and am set for the day. drip while at home

I recently ordered a spade and that has been a great upgrade, though had some battery issues in the beginning.
being a gadget freak, this could become a spendy habit :)

Woo hoo! Another Washington State vaper. I'm glad to hear that it's working so well for you. Just keep up the good work and you'll be happier and healthier for it. I'm young(23), but smoking between 1 1/2 - 2 packs a day of random smokes for 6 years was enough to mess up my lungs. I'm getting that heaviness in my chest, but hopefully, it'll go away. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Fill "a" cart? On a 510? For the work day?8-o You must be time pressed or have a light stress job. I go thru 3 between the drive and the job.

Welcome!

LOL

I have wondered about that actually. i MUST be a really light vaper
i hear all these posts about people going through carts like crazy but one filled cart will get me through a normal work day. which is usually about 6 hours.
(though work from home for hours after that)

I vape about like I smoked. every hour or so I feel the need for a smoke, so take a couple hits and then am fine. I find that 2 or 3 vapes gives me the nic feeling I need.

Research? Before you bought the first crappy rip-off deal you came across? Wow. Move to the head of the class. :D

Also, don't worry about the occasional cigarette. It took me a couple of months to quit completely, and that seems fairly common among the other forum members, as well.

well I wanted to learn more about e-cigs in general and one of the first thing i heard was all the bad things people had to say about the general available units.

seeing how i am into gadgets, I usually do at least a minimum amount of research to make sure I am getting the right one.

My wife and i have learned not to settle any longer. will pay more for quality product

I was planning on going to walgreens later that day and get a njoy.
glad i waited for the 510

been quite happy so far.
havent really tried lots of juice though, been happy with my traditional tobacco from vaportalk

I got a Joye 510 and couldn't be happier with it, although I am a light vaper like darrinsden. One cart will last me a couple of days when I am at the workplace. I was a pack a day smoker, but just a few vapes every couple of hours does it for me when I am at work.

On days I work from home I drip and use my USB PT, so it's hard to tell how much I use at home.
