New user, Introduction and questions.

Hello all. First off, thank you for the wealth of information you've put together here. I've been reading tons, and learning a lot. I look forward to pestering you all with questions, and eventually sharing my own experiences.

First off, I'm looking into either trying the Joye 510 or the Vapor King (from V4L) So any feedback on comparison between these two would be great. At the moment, I'm leaning towards the VK, and refilling my own cartomizers with juice. This seems like it would be less hassle than replacing atomizers, as I could just refill the cartomizer a few times, toss it, and use a new one. Opinions?

Second, I hope for this to eventually take over for regular cigarettes. But the thing I can't seem to find (I'm sure it's here somewhere, but these forums are quite a bit to look through) is how much I should look to get to maintain where I'm at now. I currently smoke somewhere around a pack a day, sometimes more, depending on how long the day is.

How long does a cart or cartomizer typically last? I've read anywhere from 1 cart = 1pack to 1 cart = 5 cigs. How long does a bottle of nic juice last? Say, for example, 20ml of 24mg?

What I'm looking at at the moment, is say I wanted to order enough juice to last me a month before I have to reorder, or even 2, because I live at an APO address, and shipping can take a while. How much should I get?

Hello, and welcome.
Good choices on the 510 and/or VK. I'd recommend the manual VK over the auto.
I don't have much experience with either, though I own both. I jumped right into the "mod" scene almost as soon as I got here.
I'd make sure to have 60 ml of vapeable juice to last me a month. I like to DIY, so my plan has been to buy high nic juice and cut it down to a vapeable strength with glycerin. prop glycol and Lorann flavorings.

My vote is 510,I have both and think the 510 is the best beside my mods.Good luck either way you picked 2 good units

I couldn't tell you about either e-cigs because I don't own either one but I heard the 510 was pretty wicked.

Hi,

You have chosen two good units. I have the 510 and love it.

It is subjective. I started with 24mg but found it a little strong for all day vaping for me. YMMV I get about 3-4 cigs worth of use out of my carts but I top them off so not to over heat the atty.

Thanks for the help all. New question. On V4L website, I don't see anywhere to buy empty cartomizers for refill. Once you've completely emptied a cart, does it matter if you refill with a different flavor? How much residual flavor is left over? And if not from that website, where could I find empty cartomizers?
