Hi, I've been reading this forum for the last couple days and all I can say is the information is overwhelming... Lots to learn lots to experience lots to spend money on...

Anyways my issue isn't smoking cigarettes but smoking hookah. I don't get nicotine cravings at all from it but I have gotten addicted to that feeling of smoking something.
I'm looking to stop smoking hookah(which i do almost 24/7), cut down on smokin as much, and get no chemicals in my lungs.

I basically want an ecig that looks like a cigarette or a little bigger. I'd like a fair amount of vape and flavor.

I bought the blu , returned it right way, had no vapor.
I then bought the prosmoke which had good vape, flavor was good fr 5 more n, then started tasting burnt which I will assume was due to my long
drags....
It seems from this forum that a kr808 or a 501 would be a good choice.
Any advice? I don't need a throat hit, just as much vape and flavor as I can get from a small ecig that looks like and ecig fir public use. For home use id probably get Ego-c, correct?

An assembled Ego battery is about the same size as a cigar, so for me that's my carry-around device. If you do want something smaller for out and about, then I'd go 510, as everything but the battery will be interchangeable with the Ego.

I'm gonna point you to what I use, cause that's all I know. My wife and I love vapor and the only thing that's satisfied us yet were Boge LR 2.0 ohm cartomizers. Because they're low resistance, I don't know if they'll run on a 510, but they work like a champ on the Ego. Those are 80% of the reason I'd push an Ego on you over a 510, the remaining % being battery life.

She's made up a DIY green tea that's mostly VG, and it gives plumes of vapor, so maybe a VG-heavy liquid would work OK in a standard cartomizer on a 510.

If you're looking for steals, Hoosier Ecig Supply has KGO kits (Ego-type) for like forty bucks, and the coupon code 5off for 5% more. (Thanks vapor eyes er for finding this!)

Good luck!

General advice here is that a 510 mini-cig, (that looks like a cigarette), doesn't have enough oomph to run low resistance coils. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but I haven't been willing to risk it by trying a LR carto on my 280 mAh 510 batts yet for fear of blowing one of them out without having a backup, (still a noob, only have 2 batts...). The issue is that vapor production with a 3 ohm (standard resistance) carto is pretty light at the 510 batt's 3.2 or 3.4 volts....That's my main issue now.

I've got parts on the way to build a box mod, 900 mAh, 3.7ish volts, that'll push the LR cartos just fine. I'm also going to build a USB passthrough at 5V that will run SR cartos just fine.

If you don't want to do all that, I'd suggest what others are saying, get a larger batt, like the KGO that madjack suggests, so you can use LR cartos, (again, like madjack links to), and won't be upset with vapor production.

EVERYONE is hung up on "I want it to look like a cigarette" when they start, me included. After only 2 days with my 510 manual mini-batt, I don't hold it like a cigarette, I hold it like I'd hold a KGO, so I REALLY wish I'd followed advice here and gone with a higher mAh, 3.7 volt kit like the KGO. I know it seems weird, but the KGO really isn't "big", it's "comfortable". Get something like that, and you won't be upgrading within 48 hrs like I am now...

Ayt so it seems from you guys are saying I should get 2 units one for public one for home.
madjack and Sweeny Tod say the KRO is a good choice. sounds good and with those cartomizers it sounds very good.
As for the smaller unit its between the kr808 or the 501 but i think the 808 is winning.
Brandontrjn how will those batteries help?

For home use at least, a fat battery unit. Once you find a flavor that works well for you, a carto tank makes a lot of sense if you are a pretty heavy vaper, as it minimizes refills.

The Riva 510 kits are attractively priced for fat battery units for home. Maybe couple it with one of the small SD Key Ring 510 connector units for outside. I'm pretty impressed with the Key Ring with Boge 2 ohm cartos, so you could use the same cartos for home and out and about. Best (lowest price of entry) might be to try getting a Riva 510 kit right off, see if you still had a huge desire for something smaller for outside -- they really aren't that bad.

Other Places
0 nic juice, kgo/riva, 2 ohm boge cartos

Add a drip tip to your order...makes for easy refilling of cartomizers but I agree with this statement. The little ecigs are okay but you'll be needing to charge constantly. Treat yourself to a bigger ecig like the kgo/riva/or ego. I advised AGAINST the tank system only because I never had any luck. If you're one of the lucky ones and can get it to work without issues, then go for it.

I have this addiction to smoking something think analogs are disgusting so i barely had any but i pound hooka. On a weekly basis I can go through 4-8 bowls and on vacation I can go through 8 bowls a day easy.
I don't know why but for years I've been holding
things in my hand as if it's a cig and "smoking" it whether it be a pen, headphones bud, lollies, straws, etc.
With an ecig I get exactly what I want. smoking wherever I want while being able to satisfy my "craving" of smoking something whenever n wherever it is.

That's why am falling for vaping lol
