The gap is not the problem. We know that the gap is necessary for the 510 to function correctly. The problem is that the flange surrounding the connection doesn't come far up enough to mask the gap, as it does in the current brass center adapters. Having the gap exposed like that makes the device look unfinished. I'm very surprised Puresmoker would find that acceptable. It's a case of bad design IMO.

I'd hate buy one of these and then find that PS was releasing one with a higher flange and have to buy yet another adapter for this thing. Frankly, seeing that image makes me VERY suspect about sticking with the V2 Prodigy at all. If the gap is exposed like that, I think I may have to find another mod. That unfinished look simply isn't acceptable.

I didn't realize it didn't have a well..

I agree. Poor design..
I hate to say but I've already moved away from the V2.
Love the people and the company but the latest designs are lacking in innovation and forward thinking..

I have my original V1 Prodigy and Protege that are still absolute workhorses but these lateset pieces just don't do it for me..

the no well thing does kind if suck. I tend to overdrip sometimes (we prob all do) and it ends up leaking on to the outside of the adapter... didn't have that issue with my protege v1.

I like the new adapter, (v1.1) its easier to clean the top of it.

Personally I don't have any liquid overfilling issue much.. if at all.
If I do I'll just wipe it off with a cloth or my shirt.

But i do see how the liquid well might help.

Just my opinion though.

The well isn't so much to hold the overflow of liquid as it is to hide the gap on the different attys.

With the top being cut from a single piece it makes it almost immpossible to have a deep well around it.

Is it no longer possible to adjust the center post? If all your atomizers are coming from the same source you should be able to adjust for the gap. You could on the brass adapters.

I was thinking the same thing. I cut center post height on my V1. Still vapes great and doesn't look funky.
