I just got my vamo on Saturday and of course had to get it all assembled and start using it as quick as I could!
But I have run into a problem. When I am using my CE3 clearomizers it vapes great but when I put any of my new tanks on the vamo I get the low ohm error or it reads at 9.9 or some crazy number. The white o-ring around the pin looks fine and the center pin looks fine. Do I still need to replace o-ring?
If so how in the heck do you get the o-ring out of there? It looks like it is pretty tight in there. What tool do you use? I really don't want to damage it.

Thanks!

Susan

Hi Susan - 9.9 means you are not getting a connection - either the coils have blown, or more likely the centre pins on the tanks are not extending down far enough.
I'd suggest that you don't try replacing the o-ring because that isn't likely to be the issue. The CEs are working because the centre pins are connecting.
I'd suggesting taking one of the tanks and gently pulling down the centre pin. It probably doesn't need to be extended down very much. Then try it again.
Also - what ohms are your tanks (I assume you mean carto tanks?)? The Vamo has a 1.2 ohm cut off.

Hey Susan,
Check to see if you are creating a short with some juice flooding the connection. I'm in the KC area and have a Vamo V2 also If you can't get it figured out send me a PM and I'll help you out.

Nice to know there are others in the KC area!! Thanks for your offer of help. I will let you know how it goes.

I am trying to use an iClear 30 and I don't see where it says anything about what resistance it is.
I have tried adjusting the pin on the tank and now it is reading 2.0 so maybe that was the fix I needed! It sure would be nice not having to tinker around with this stuff but such is life!
Thanks for the info

That sounds right. The iClear 30s are in the 2 ohm range. If it works now then it was just a centre pin issue on the clearos (iClears are clearo tanks).
